Zweite Natur Stuttgarter Hegel–Kongress 2017
Free Download Julia Christ, Axel Honneth, "Zweite Natur: Stuttgarter Hegel-Kongress 2017"
Deutsch | 2022 | ISBN: 346502835X | PDF | pages: 703 | 5.1 mb

Badiou, Infinity, and Subjectivity Reading Hegel and Lacan after Badiou
Free Download Mohammad Reza Naderi, "Badiou, Infinity, and Subjectivity: Reading Hegel and Lacan after Badiou "
English | ISBN: 1666931047 | 2023 | 350 pages | EPUB, PDF | 2 MB + 5 MB
In Badiou, Infinity, and Subjectivity: Reading Hegel and Lacan after Badiou, Mohammad Reza Naderi elaborates on the trajectory of Alain Badiou's philosophy by following a leading thread: the dominance of axiomatic thought and the category of mathematical infinity. According to this primary proposition, axiomatic thought is the only form of thinking adequate to the infinity of being. Using both primary and secondary literature, the author demonstrates two other major propositions: 1) The coherence of Badiou's intellectual development from the early interventions to the publication of Being and Event, and 2) The formation of a theory Naderi calls "discipline." By working through three dimensions of disciplinary thinking-interiority, novelty, and beginning-Naderi provides a new framework for understanding the inner structure of what Badiou calls "procedures of truths" and develops a new interpretation that ultimately reveals the inner logic of Badiou's method.

Marx's 'Grundrisse' and Hegel's 'Logic' (Routledge Library Editions Marxism)
Free Download Marx's 'Grundrisse' and Hegel's 'Logic' (Routledge Library Editions: Marxism) By Hiroshi Uchida, Terrell Carver (editor)
2016 | 182 Pages | ISBN: 1138888532 | EPUB | 1 MB
Marx's Grundrisse is acknowledged as the vital link between Marx's early and late work. It is also a crucial text in elucidating Marx's debt to the idealist philosopher G.W.F. Hegel. This book, first published in 1988, is the first full-length study of that relationship, in a thorough textual analysis which makes the connections explicit and also the Grundrisse's relations to the works of Adam Smith and Aristotle. This book argues that Marx's critique of political economy, and his critique of Hegel, are double interrelated. Not only did Marx adapt Hegelian logic in order to analyse the economic categories crucial to modern society but it is argued that those logical categories were themselves seen as reflections of the productive processes of contemporary commercial society. Uchida reveals a conceptual structure common to the apparently rarefied world of Hegelian conceptual logic and to the supposedly common-sensical world of economic science. Demonstrating this is a considerable achievement, and it allows us to consider precisely what is valuable today in Marx's critical commentary on this conceptual structure and on the type of society in which it is manifested. Uchida's subject, like Marx's, is 'the force of capital on modern life'.

Hegel's Science of Logic A Critical Rethinking in Thirty Lectures
Free Download Richard Dien Winfield, "Hegel's Science of Logic: A Critical Rethinking in Thirty Lectures"
English | 2012 | pages: 390 | ISBN: 1442219343 | EPUB | 0,7 mb
This text provides a truly comprehensive guide to one of the most important and challenging works of modern philosophy. The systematic complexity of Hegel's radical project in the Science of Logic prevents many from understanding and appreciating its value. By independently and critically working through Hegel's argument, this book offers an enlightening aid for study and anchors the Science of Logic at a central position in the philosophical canon.

Mourning Sickness Hegel and the French Revolution
Free Download Mourning Sickness: Hegel and the French Revolution (Cultural Memory in the Present) by Rebecca Comay
English | September 30, 2010 | ISBN: 0804761264, 0804761272 | True EPUB | 224 pages | 0.3 MB
This book explores Hegel's response to the French Revolutionary Terror and its impact on Germany. Like many of his contemporaries, Hegel was struck by the seeming parallel between the political upheaval in France and the upheaval in German philosophy inaugurated by the Protestant Reformation and brought to a climax by German Idealism. Many thinkers reasoned that a political revolution would be unnecessary in Germany, because this intellectual "revolution" had preempted it. Having already been through its own cataclysm, Germany would be able to extract the energy of the Revolution and channel its radicalism into thought. Hegel comes close to making such an argument too. But he also offers a powerful analysis of how this kind of secondhand history gets generated in the first place, and shows what is stake. This is what makes him uniquely interesting among his contemporaries: he demonstrates how a fantasy can be simultaneously deconstructed and enjoyed.

Hegel's Apotheosis of Logic
Free Download Stephen Theron, "Hegel's Apotheosis of Logic"
English | ISBN: 1443816841 | 2017 | 330 pages | PDF | 1275 KB
This book presents what Hegel calls the vital spirit of the actual world, the truth, namely, of logics form and content as one concrete whole. Axiomatic here is that thinking is necessarily free and unbounded, if we could escape a performative contradiction in evaluating it. Thinking is absolute, what Hegel calls spirit or mind, Geist. He identifies three forms of absolute spirit, namely art, religion and philosophy, where each form is absorbed into the next one; philosophy subsumes religion and religion subsumes art, in a process seeking and achieving the absolute. Philosophy, therefore, is ultimately theology as fulfilling the latter in minds constitutive self-transcendence towards the absolute idea, itself the absolute, Hegel asserts. This is absolute idealism, where the Idea is true being and finite things are transitory notions. This book aims to clarify such conceptions, whereby theological transcendent grace is natural or all in all, faith is absolute knowledge in germ, things are the opposite of what they immediately seem, while achieved self-consciousness is the ruin of the individual abstractly parted from its objects. Thus external nature is internal, the whole in or one with the part, necessity absolute freedom, these being stages of Logic. Hegel needs a second, related trio to the above three forms. This is logic, nature and mind, likewise, in ceaseless process, a returning upon self. Thus arts foundational quality mirrors that of the logical art. The individual art-object, art as striving for absolute perfection, founds spirits trajectory. Hence, consciousness first appears individual only as set towards universal self-consciousness in absolute knowing.
