Transition, Turbulence, and Noise Theory and Applications for Scientists and Engineers
Free Download Transition, Turbulence, and Noise: Theory and Applications for Scientists and Engineers by Reda R. Mankbadi
English | PDF | 1994 | 386 Pages | ISBN : 079239481X | 37.9 MB
Turbulence takes place in most flow situations whethertheyoccur naturally or in technological systems. Therefore, considerable effort is being expended in an attempt to understand the phenomenon of turbulence. The recent discovery ofcoherent structure in turbulent shear flows and the modem developments in computer capabilities have revolutionized research work in turbulence. There is a strong evidence that the coherent structure in turbulent shear flows is reminiscent of nonlinear stability waves. As such, the interest in nonlinear stability waves has increased not only for the understandingofthe latterstages of the laminar-turbulent transition process, but also for understanding the coherent structures in turbulent flows. Also. the advances in computers have made direct numerical simulation possible at Low-Reynolds numbers and large-eddy simulation possible at high Reynolds numbers. This made first-principles prediction of turbulence-generated noise feasible. Therefore, this book aims at presenting a graduate-level introductory study of turbulence while accounting for such recent views of concern to researchers. This book is an outgrowth oflecture notes on the subject offered to graduate students in engineering. The book should be of interest to research engineers and graduatestudents in science and engineering. The theoretical basis presented is sufficient not only for studying the specialized literature on turbulence but also for theoretical investigations on the subject.

Lecture Notes in Analog Electronics Noise in Electronic Circuits and Low Noise Amplifier Design
Free Download Lecture Notes in Analog Electronics: Noise in Electronic Circuits and Low Noise Amplifier Design by Vančo Litovski
English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2024 | 217 Pages | ISBN : 9819989043 | 37.7 MB
This book discusses unified noise models of the broadest set of electronic components including, resistors, diodes, all types of transistors, and most types of opto-electronic devices. The noise, however, is a phenomenon which is inherent to any technology. It is omnipresent. It is obstructing every application and in many cases special actions must be undertaken to recognize the main function's signal in the mistiness of the noise. The number of types of noise sources in electronics is almost unlimited. The book offers unique comprehensive approach to noise analysis in electronic circuits based on modified nodal analysis and the superposition theorem. It also encompasses a broadest set of low noise amplifier design procedures covering BJT, MOSET, MESFET, and HEMT technologies.

Static Crosstalk–Noise Analysis For Deep Sub–Micron Digital Designs
Free Download Static Crosstalk-Noise Analysis: For Deep Sub-Micron Digital Designs by Pinhong Chen , Desmond A. Kirkpatrick , Kurt Keutzer
English | PDF (True) | 2004 | 127 Pages | ISBN : 1402080913 | 8.4 MB
As the feature size decreases in deep sub-micron designs, coupling capacitance becomes the dominant factor in total capacitance. The resulting crosstalk noise may be responsible for signal integrity issues and significant timing variation. Traditionally, static timing analysis tools have ignored cross coupling effects between wires altogether. Newer tools simply approximate the coupling capacitance by a 2X Miller factor in order to compute the worst case delay. The latter approach not only reduces delay calculation accuracy, but can also be shown to underestimate the delay in certain scenarios.

Active Vibration & Noise Control Design Towards Performance Limit A New Paradigm to Active Control
Free Download Jiqiang Wang, "Active Vibration & Noise Control: Design Towards Performance Limit: A New Paradigm to Active Control"
English | ISBN: 9811941157 | 2022 | 290 pages | PDF | 7 MB
The book is motivated by the pivotal issue: what is the performance limit of active control and energy harvesting? It aims to develop systematic design methodologies with a "visualization technique" where the performance limit can be readily determined solely based on visual inspections.
