Women's Irony Rewriting Feminist Rhetorical Histories
Tarez Samra Graban, "Women's Irony: Rewriting Feminist Rhetorical Histories "
English | ISBN: 0809334186 | 2015 | 258 pages | PDF | 2 MB
In Women's Irony: Rewriting Feminist Rhetorical Histories, author Tarez Samra Graban synthesizes three decades of feminist scholarship in rhetoric, linguistics, and philosophy to present irony as a critical paradigm for feminist rhetorical historiography that is not linked to humor, lying, or intention. Using irony as a form of ideological disruption, this innovative approach allows scholars to challenge simplistic narratives of who harmed, and who was harmed, throughout rhetorical history.

Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks Theory and Applications
Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks: Theory and Applications By Xiang-Yang Li
2008 | 614 Pages | ISBN: 0521865239 | PDF | 6 MB
If you have to understand and optimize the performance of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, this explanation provides you with the information and insights you need. It delivers an understanding of the underlying problems, and the techniques to develop efficient solutions and maximize network performance. Taking an algorithmic and theoretical approach, Li dissects key layers of a wireless network, from the physical and MAC layers (covering the IEEE 802.11 and 802.16 protocols, and protocols for wireless sensor networks and Bluetooth) through to the network routing layer. In doing so he reviews the practical protocols, formulates problem mathematically, solve them algorithmically and then analyses the performance. Graduate students, researchers and practitioners needing an overview of the various algorithmic, graph theoretical, computational geometric and probabilistic approach to solving problems in designing these networks will find this an invaluable resource. Wind and Solar Power Systems
Wind and Solar Power Systems By Mukund R. Patel
1999 | 283 Pages | ISBN: 0849316057 | PDF | 33 MB
From the title of the book it could be expected a share of both topics, wind and solar energy, however the book is full of wind power analysis everywhere, concentrating solar power is almost non existing, just a couple of pages on chapter 17, and considering the number of applications and complexity of this topics it deserves a lot more than that. So the book is nice but one should not expect too much of anything but wind energy, which is fine. On photovoltaic there is not much either, including nothing on emerging technologies in the field, so it is fairly classic what you have there for conventional design but not giving any clue of what comes next. For instance flexible systems for non flat roof applications or any other non regular shape buildings or semi transparent components. When considering grid connections it goes again for wind almost inmediately. This is fine but my point is whay do not call the book "wind power with some solar..." instead of giving the wrong impression ?, so I give 4 starts for wind and 2 for solar (really it should be just one) giving 3 as average.
