English | 2021 | ISBN: N/A | ASIN: B09CDQWL62 | 240 pages | EPUB | 0.54 Mb
In 2019, in the context of weak global economic growth, the digital economy continues to maintain a prosperous development trend, achieving both scale and efficiency improvements, becoming a key force in promoting economic growth. Specifically, the ubiquitous network of integrated world and earth is rapidly deployed, and countries seize the commanding heights of innovation. The digital industry is developing vigorously, and technological innovation and model innovation are simultaneously driving. The new generation of information technology is deeply integrated with the real economy, and the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry leads new changes in the global industry. Digital government is getting deeper and deeper, and the characteristics of data-driven, platform-based and new-generation information technology applications are emerging. The formulation of digital trade rules has begun to "speed up", and regional agreements have become the main means of promotion. The rapid spread of digital tax reform has become a major focus of the struggle between the United States and Europe. The establishment of a common framework for measuring the digital economy has become a consensus among all countries, and an accounting standard system is urgently to be established. The digital economy has become the focus of international cooperation, and my country has gradually changed from a participant to an advocate. Based on the above basic judgments on the global development trend, we believe that the development of digital economy in my country is still facing how the industrial Internet can form a good industrial ecology. It is difficult to balance the protection of personal privacy and data value mining. The digital economy accounting system needs to be improved urgently, and different regions and regions. The digital divide between industries is still large and other issues and challenges. In the next step, it is recommended to seize opportunities for the development of the digital economy, accelerate the construction of the industrial Internet industry ecology, create a new pattern of diversified governance, strengthen the use of e-government to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities, increase support for international cooperation in the digital economy, and promote the establishment Standard, scientific and inclusive digital economy measurement system.

[i][b]The focus of US artificial intelligence strategy and policy is to maintain the global "leading" position, and it is hoped that the development of artificial intelligence will always be proactive and foreseeable. As early as the Obama administration, the United States began to release a number of artificial intelligence plans in 2013, the first to mention the application and vision of artificial intelligence in the fields of smart cities, autonomous driving, and education. In 2016, the United States raised artificial intelligence to a national strategic level and issued the National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Plan, which provided certain support and

Domestic Judicial Treatment of European Court of Human Rights Case Law Beyond Compliance
David Kosař, "Domestic Judicial Treatment of European Court of Human Rights Case Law: Beyond Compliance "
English | ISBN: 0367361167 | 2020 | 306 pages | PDF | 11 MB
The European Court of Human Rights ("ECtHR") suffers from the burgeoning caseload and challenges to its authority. This two-pronged crisis undermines the ECtHR's legitimacy and consequently the functioning of the whole European human rights regime. Domestic courts can serve as welcome allies of the Strasbourg Court. They have a potential to diffuse Convention norms domestically, and therefore prevent and filter many potential human rights violations. Yet, we know very little about how domestic courts actually treat the Strasbourg Court's rulings. This book brings unique empirical findings on how often, how and with what consequences domestic judges work with the ECtHR's case law. It moves beyond the narrow concept of compliance and develops a new three-level methodology for analysing the role played by domestic courts in the implementation of ECtHR case law. Moreover, using the example of Czechia, it shifts the attention from Western countries to a more volatile Central and Eastern European region, which has recently witnessed democratic backsliding and backlash against international checks on human rights and the rule of law standards. Looking at a wider social and legal context, this book identifies factors helping transitional countries to adapt to regional human rights regimes.
