Noble Endeavours The Life of Two Countries, England and Germany, in Many Stories
Miranda Seymour, "Noble Endeavours: The Life of Two Countries, England and Germany, in Many Stories"
English | 2014 | ISBN: 1849830150 | 512 pages | EPUB | 5.1 MB
Nothing about the story of England and Germany, as this remarkable book demonstrates, is as simple as we might expect. A shared faith, a shared hunger for power, a shared culture. Miranda Seymour has written a rich and heart-breaking story that needs to be heard: the vibrant, extraordinary history - told through the lives of kings and painters, soldiers and sailors, sugar-bakers and bankers, crooks and saints - of two countries entwined.

Network Topology The Physical and Logical Structure of a Network connection Between Model and nodes
Engr. Wilson Kurt, "Network Topology: The Physical and Logical Structure of a Network connection Between Model and nodes"
English | 2019 | ISBN: 1672463599 | ASIN: B082FQ4SPD | EPUB | pages: 59 | 0.3 mb
Network Topology is a structural network layout that is either physical or logical and arranged by a pattern of connected computers, devices, nodes, and other links of a network. It has different structures of a network topology that shows how a network is created and connected a link (in different methods) to a device. Such network topology structures are bus, ring, mesh, fully connected (or complete), star, and hierarchical (tree). Computers MUST connect to a network of any topology because of information sharing and communication. Without a network, users are unable to share files, send emails, print files, creating and sharing database, etc. An example of this is a Local Area Network (LAN). Any node in the LAN has one or more links to other devices within the network, mapping these links can result in a geometric shape.Network Topology refers to the layout of a network and how different nodes in a network are connected to each other and how they communicate. Topologies are either physical (the physical layout of devices on a network) or logical (the way that the signals act on the network media, or the way that the data passes through the network from one device to the next). This Webopedia Study Guide describes five of the most common network topologies. A network topology is the arrangement of nodes - usually switches, routers, or software switch/router features - and connections in a network, often represented as a graph. The topology of the network, and the relative locations of the source and destination of traffic flows on the network, determine the optimum path for each flow and the extent to which redundant options for routing exist in the event of a failure. There are two ways of defining network geometry: the physical topology and the logical (or signal) topology.

Natural Home Remedies From India Herbs, Flower and Roots
Kavitha Balakrishnan, "Natural Home Remedies From India: Herbs, Flower and Roots"
English | ASIN : B08C96QR9T | 2020 | 67 pages | AZW3 | 11 MB
This book is about herbs from India that are used as simple home remedies for minor ailments, skin and hair care. These herbs are used in various medicines for more than 1000 years by Siddhas and Vaithiyars and I respect and bow to their wisdom.Born in a small town in TamilNadu, the southern part of India, I was surrounded by all these herbs. Saw, heard and used them every day, without knowing what they did to me.When simple herbs like turmeric helped our family, when my Dad was very sick, the value of these hit me hard. It became more deep-rooted. Just because these herbs are available freely and cheap, I think we took them for granted.Knowledge about these herbs is dying with the present younger generations concentrating more on other things. This virus, I think, has brought a perspective change to many. For me, more especially after experiencing this. Just having herbal medicines internally or topical uses are not going to be effective if the lifestyle followed is not good. Some of these herbs are also consumed, but then they have their own conditions. Only if you have good sleep or a diet control will they have the full effect.I have worked in multiple areas, but I always wondered what was my calling. And I am sure now, that spreading the knowledge and goodness of these herbs to as many as possible around the world is my duty. The father of Siddha medicine, Agathiyar and many other Siddhas gave so much information for free for the future generations to benefit. And I feel we are not only using them, but we are also abusing the body with junk food and other unhealthy practices. This is like an Akshaya Patra (the vessel which gave more and more food as it was emptied), the more I search the more herbs I get to know. So many more books to follow. It is time to revive the olden traditions, customs, rituals, and I think we have got the signal that it is high time we did. In India, in TamilNadu, especially many have started to consume traditional drinks to build their immunity.I think if my generation is not going to take the step to impart knowledge about these, the younger generation is not going to know about these at all. Because these treasures will die with the older generation.Going natural is the only way to have optimal health, save the planet, and give a better world to our children.Click the orange buy now button at the top of the page to grab your copy.

Museums throughout the world are under increasing pressure in the wake of the 2008/2009 economic recession and the many pressing social and environmental issues that are assuming priority. Modernization, Nation-Building, and Television History
Stewart Anderson, Melissa Chakars, "Modernization, Nation-Building, and Television History"
English | 2014 | ISBN: 1138777951, 113854891X | EPUB | pages: 218 | 2.1 mb
This innovative collection investigates the ways in which television programs around the world have highlighted modernization and encouraged nation-building. It is an attempt to catalogue and better understand the contours of this phenomenon, which took place as television developed and expanded in different parts of the world between the 1950s and the 1990s. From popular science and adult education shows to news magazines and television plays, few themes so thoroughly penetrated the small screen for so many years as modernization, with television producers and state authorities using television programs to bolster modernization efforts. Contributors analyze the hallmarks of these media efforts: nation-building, consumerism and consumer culture, the education and integration of citizens, and the glorification of the nation's technological achievements.
