![]() Free Download New Frontiers in Plant-Environment Interactions: Innovative Technologies and Developments by Tariq Aftab English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2023 | 571 Pages | ISBN : 3031437284 | 60.3 MB This book provides information about plant-environment studies and challenges for plant improvement to achieve food security. Plants face a wide range of environmental challenges, which are expected to become more intense as a result of global climate change. Plant-environment interactions play an important role in the functioning of ecosystems. There are habitats throughout the world that present challenges to crop plants, such as through a lack of water and excessive, or toxic, salts in the soil. Soil properties represent a strong selection pressure for plant diversity and influence the structure of plant communities and participate to the generation and maintenance of biodiversity. Plant communities selected by environment grow by modifying soil physical, chemical, and biological properties, with consequent effects on survival and growth of plants. The complexity of plant-environment interactions has recently been studied by developing a trait-based approach in which responses and effects of plants on environment were quantified and modeled. This fundamental research on plant-environment interaction in ecosystems is essential to transpose knowledges of functional ecology to environmental management. Plants have adapted to an incredible range of environment, and extensive researches on ecological and environmental plant physiology have provided mechanistic understanding of the survival, distribution, productivity, and abundance of plant species across the diverse climates of our planet. Ecophysiological techniques have greatly advanced our understanding of photosynthesis, respiration, plant water relations, and plant responses to abiotic and biotic stresses, from instantaneous to evolutionary timescales. Ecophysiological studies also provide the basis for scaling plant physiological processes from the tissue to the canopy, ecosystem, region, and to a large extent, the entire globe. Given the above, the author proposes to bring forth a comprehensive book, "New Frontiers in Plant-Environment Interactions", highlighting the various emerging techniques and applications that are currently being used in plant-environment interaction research and its future prospects. The author is sure that this book caters the need of all those who are working or have interest in the above topic. ![]() Free Download Lydia Amir, "New Frontiers in Philosophical Practice" English | ISBN: 1527503550 | 2017 | 286 pages | PDF | 1414 KB In this volume, an international group of prominent philosophical practitioners brings new methods, aims, problems and audiences to the practice of philosophy. The twelve chapters here exemplify how philosophers can fulfill their responsibility towards their communities, and, ultimately, towards civilization at large. This anthology will prove to be valuable not only to philosophers, both practical and theoretical, but also to professionals and students in education and the helping disciplines. Written in a clear and engaging style, it will be of interest to the general public as well. ![]() Free Download Myint Swe Khine, "New Directions in Rhizomatic Learning " English | ISBN: 1032453087 | 2023 | 240 pages | EPUB, PDF | 2 MB + 12 MB Drawing on the theories and philosophies of Deleuze and Guattari, this edited collection explores the concept of rhizomatic learning and consolidates recent explorations in theory building and multidisciplinary research to identify new directions in the field. ![]() Free Download Neuroradiology of Brain Tumors: Practical Guide based on the 5th Edition of WHO Classification by Fabio Maria Triulzi English | PDF (True) | 2023 | 248 Pages | ISBN : 3031381521 | 39.1 MB While several books describing imaging of brain tumors from MR acquisition techniques to differential diagnosis are written by different contributors and present chapters with different styles and design, this book illustrates a unique vision and structure putting together modern molecular classification of brain tumor with modern neuroradiology. ![]() Free Download Neuroradiology - Expect the Unexpected By Martina Špero English | EPUB | 2018 | 183 Pages | ISBN : 3319734814 | 121.26 MB[/center This book presents a selection of unusual neuroradiology cases, each documented with a short medical history, CT and MRI images, and one page with clinical features and radiological findings. Macniven English | PDF (True) | 2016 | 251 Pages | ISBN : 3319183370 | 5.7 MB This forward-looking reference defines and illustrates the process and themes of formulation in neuropsychology and places it in the vanguard of current practice. The book explains the types of information that go into formulations, how they are gathered, and how they are synthesized into a clinically useful presentation describing psychological conditions resulting from neurological illness or injury. Cases highlight the relevance and flexibility of narrative- and diagram-based formulation methods in approaching a diverse range of issues and conditions, from decisional capacity to cultural considerations, Huntington's disease to deep dyslexia. Throughout this volume, formulation is shown as integral to treatment and rehabilitation planning alongside clinical assessment, cognitive testing, and diagnosis. ![]() Free Download Neuropsychoanalysis: An Introduction to Neuroscience and Psychodynamic Therapy by Gerd Thomas Waldhauser English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2023 | 44 Pages | ISBN : 3658408901 | 0.6 MB Neuroscience and psychoanalysis initially appear as two fundamentally different, incompatible approaches to human experience and behavior. However, from the very beginning of the development of psychoanalysis, there have been repeated efforts to ground psychoanalytic concepts and processes in neuroscience. On the other hand, psychoanalysis provides a comprehensive model of the human psyche in all its complexity and dynamics, which could help to understand the diverse and often highly specialized findings of modern brain research in their entirety. This book summarizes the current state of research in this area of intersection between depth psychology and brain research and elaborates how both practitioners and basic researchers can benefit from a fruitful exchange between the two disciplines. ![]() Free Download Neural Regulation of Metabolism by Qi Wu English | EPUB (True) | 2018 | 239 Pages | ISBN : 9811312850 | 10 MB This book systemically describes the mechanisms underlying the neural regulation of metabolism.
