![]() Free Download Dictionary of Electrical Engineering: English, German, French, Dutch, Russian by Y. N. Luginsky , B. A. Alexeyev , B. Y. Makhlin , N. E. Sirotina , M. S. Fesi-Zhilinskaya English | PDF | 1985 | 480 Pages | ISBN : 9020119109 | 53.2 MB The purpose of this Dictionary, published jointly by Kluwer Technische Boeken, BV (Deventer, The Netherlands) and Russky yazyk Publishers (Moscow, USSR) is to help the user read and translate Englisch, German, French, Dutch and Russian texts in electrical engineer ing. Up until now all such dictionaries were containing terms pertaining directly to electrical engineering plus the terminology used in its off-sheets which have evolved into separate disci plines, such as communications, electronics, automation etc. Foremost, however, this Diction ary represents the terminology of electrical engineering, while the branches are represented by their basic terms only. Given the relative small volume (about 8000 terms), the authors tried to reflect the most important terms in such areas as the cirquit theory, electric and magnetic measurements, ele ctric power generation, transmission and distribution, as well as the industrial and domestic consumption of electric power. The Dictionary also contains many terms relevant to high voltage technology, electrical machines and apparatus, electric drive, as well as to the elements and structures of aerial and cable transmission lines. In selecting English terms, the authors were trying to reflect both their British and Ameri can versions, although they did not attempt to present all terminological synonyms of this kind. In some cases the Dictionary provides the main spelling versions. ![]() Free Download Andrew Zissos Andreas N. Garrick Cooper, Sudipta Kaviraj, Charles W. Mills, and Sor-hoon Tan respond to the challenges James Tully raises for comparative political thought. Arranged around Tully's opening chapter, they demonstrate the value of critical dialogue and point to the different attempts cultures make to understand their experiences. Through the use of methods from various disciplines and cultural contexts, each interlocutor exemplifies the transformative power of genuine democratic dialogue across philosophical traditions. Together they call for a radical reorientation of conceptual and intellectual readings from intellectual history including the Afro-modern political tradition, Indigenous philosophies, and the lived experiences of societies in Asia. This is an urgent methodological provocation for anyone interested in the ethical, conceptual, and political challenges of political thought today. ![]() Free Download Diagnostic Thoracic Pathology by Annikka Weissferdt English | PDF | 2020 | 1133 Pages | ISBN : 3030364372 | 393 MB This book covers the wide subject of pathological processes that can affect the lung, pleura and mediastinum. They play a key role in value creation by orchestrating ecosystem actors and facilitating interaction, e.g. the exchange of goods, services, or social currency such as information. This book explores how PIPs can be systematically designed. It adopts a platform perspective, focusing on value creation for manifold actors as a fundamental element for the sustainable operation of a platform. Well-established insights from the design of digital platforms are taken as a foundation and adapted to the physical world. This analysis is compiled of 4 major studies, structured along the lifecycle of a PIP. The first study explores design dimensions of PIPs as a basis for a design process. The second study explores the design process of a PIP itself. The third study explores sustainable innovation of PIP during later stages of their lifecycle. The fourth study applies the findings and models from studies 1-3 in a PIP design process and evaluates them. This book addresses both scholars and practitioners alike. The models and the knowledge generated contribute to the scholarly understanding of spaces for innovation and value creation while enabling designers to create sustainably successful and engaging PIPs. ![]() Free Download Design, User Experience, and Usability: Users, Contexts and Case Studies: 7th International Conference, DUXU 2018, Held as Part of HCI International 2018, Las Vegas, NV, USA, July 15-20, 2018, Proceedings, Part III by Aaron Marcus English | PDF | 2018 | 793 Pages | ISBN : 3319918052 | 111.24 MB The three-volume set LNCS 10918, 10919, and 10290 constitutes the proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Design, User Experience, and Usability, DUXU 2018, held as part of the 20th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCII 2018, in Las Vegas, NV, USA in July 2018.
