Large Language Models A Deep Dive Bridging Theory and Practice
Free Download Large Language Models: A Deep Dive Bridging Theory and Practice by Uday Kamath , Kevin Keenan , Garrett Somers , Sarah Sorenson
English | PDF (True) | 2024 | 496 Pages | ISBN : 3031656466 | 30.7 MB
Large Language Models (LLMs) have emerged as a cornerstone technology, transforming how we interact with information and redefining the boundaries of artificial intelligence. LLMs offer an unprecedented ability to understand, generate, and interact with human language in an intuitive and insightful manner, leading to transformative applications across domains like content creation, chatbots, search engines, and research tools. While fascinating, the complex workings of LLMs-their intricate architecture, underlying algorithms, and ethical considerations-require thorough exploration, creating a need for a comprehensive book on this subject.

LEP – The Lord of the Collider Rings at CERN 1980–2000
Free Download LEP - The Lord of the Collider Rings at CERN 1980-2000: The Making, Operation and Legacy of the World's Largest Scientific Instrument by Herwig Schopper
English | PDF (True) | 2009 | 215 Pages | ISBN : 3540893008 | 6.8 MB
Housed by a 4 m diameter tunnel of 27 km circumference, with huge underground labs and numerous surface facilities, and set up with a precision of 0.1 mm per kilometer, the Large Electron-Positron Collider (LEP) was not only the largest but also one of the most sophisticated scientific research instruments ever created by Man. Located at CERN, near Geneva, LEP was built during the years 1983 - 1989, was operational until 2000, and corroborated the standard model of particle physics through continuous high precision measurements.

Knowledge as a Tale A Discursive Space
Free Download Knowledge as a Tale: A Discursive Space by Rafal Maciag
English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2024 | 241 Pages | ISBN : 3031698193 | 9.7 MB
This text describes the process that led to knowledge becoming the most important modern good and a complex phenomenon beginning at the end of the 19th century. It was a change in the way of understanding the world proposed by mathematics and geometry. This volume reveals how the paradigm shift, still in progress, is gradually transforming less obvious fields of science, such as the humanities and social sciences while affecting the phenomenon of knowledge. Firstly, meta-analysis gained importance, and secondly, it became natural to perceive knowledge in a social context, showing its diverse and multi-cause dispersion, leading to the phenomenon of knowledge. Due to the interpretation of knowledge as a complex social phenomenon, the author proposes a new model of knowledge description, called the theory of discursive space, making it possible to describe the role and meaning of knowledge as a component of modern civilization that is all-encompassing. This text appeals to students and researchers working in the philosophy of technology.

Knowledge and Learning in Organizations A Knowing–In–Practice Perspective of University Academic Managers
Free Download Knowledge and Learning in Organizations: A Knowing-In-Practice Perspective of University Academic Managers by Fabiano Larentis , Claudia Simone Antonello
English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2024 | 89 Pages | ISBN : 3031611667 | 2.7 MB
This book explores the notion of knowing-in-practice to unravel the formation of academic managers' knowing in a community university. It considers the unique socio-historical context and institutional intricacies, such as procedures, flows, and political and power structures. Knowing-in-practice implies that knowledge is dynamic, constantly in flux, and intricately linked to the capability for action within the social context. In essence, knowledge is emergent and anchored by its material context.

Kinematic Modeling, Identification, and Control of Robotic Manipulators
Free Download Kinematic Modeling, Identification, and Control of Robotic Manipulators by Henry W. Stone
English | PDF | 1987 | 236 Pages | ISBN : 0898382378 | 14.4 MB
The objective of this dissertation is to advance the state-of-the-art in the kinematic modeling, identification, and control of robotic manipulators with rigid links in an effort to improve robot kinematic performance. The positioning accuracy of commercially-available industrial robotic manipulators depends upon a kinematic model which describes the robot geometry in a parametric form. Manufacturing error in the machining and assembly of manipulators lead to discrepancies between the design parameters and the physical structure. Improving the kinematic perfor mance thus requires the identification of the actual kinematic parameters of each individual robot. The identified kinematic parameters are referred to as the arm signature. Existing robot kinematic models, such as the Denavit-Hartenberg model, are not directly applicable to kinematic parameter identification. In this dissertation we introduce a new kinematic model, called the 5-Model, which is applicable to kinematic parameter identification, and use it as the foundation for our development of a general technique for identifying the kinematic parameters of any robot with rigid links.
