Algebraic Identification and Estimation Methods in Feedback Control Systems
Free Download Algebraic Identification and Estimation Methods in Feedback Control Systems by Hebertt Sira-Ramírez, Carlos García-Rodríguez, John Cortés-Romero, Alberto Luviano-Juárez
English | PDF (True) | 2014 | 379 Pages | ISBN : 1118730607 | 6.7 MB
lgebraic Identification and Estimation Methods in Feedback Control Systems presents a model-based algebraic approach to online parameter and state estimation in uncertain dynamic feedback control systems. This approach evades the mathematical intricacies of the traditional stochastic approach, proposing a direct model-based scheme with several easy-to-implement computational advantages. The approach can be used with continuous and discrete, linear and nonlinear, mono-variable and multi-variable systems. The estimators based on this approach are not of asymptotic nature, and do not require any statistical knowledge of the corrupting noises to achieve good performance in a noisy environment. These estimators are fast, robust to structured perturbations, and easy to combine with classical or sophisticated control laws.

Algebraic Geometry A First Course
Free Download Algebraic Geometry: A First Course by Joe Harris
English | PDF | 1992 | 344 Pages | ISBN : 0387977163 | 28.9 MB
This book is based on one-semester courses given at Harvard in 1984, at Brown in 1985, and at Harvard in 1988. It is intended to be, as the title suggests, a first introduction to the subject. Even so, a few words are in order about the purposes of the book. Algebraic geometry has developed tremendously over the last century. During the 19th century, the subject was practiced on a relatively concrete, down-to-earth level; the main objects of study were projective varieties, and the techniques for the most part were grounded in geometric constructions. This approach flourished during the middle of the century and reached its culmination in the work of the Italian school around the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. Ultimately, the subject was pushed beyond the limits of its foundations: by the end of its period the Italian school had progressed to the point where the language and techniques of the subject could no longer serve to express or carry out the ideas of its best practitioners.

Agroforestry Solutions for Climate Change and Environmental Restoration
Free Download Agroforestry Solutions for Climate Change and Environmental Restoration by Sushil Kumar, Badre Alam, Sukumar Taria, Priyanka Singh, Ashok Yadav, A. Arunachalam
English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2024 | 539 Pages | ISBN : 9819750032 | 65.5 MB
This book discusses the possibilities, reach, challenges, and limitations of agroforestry in new contexts where the security of food, nutrition, and the environment are equally vital. The focus of each chapter in the book is on the potential for agroforestry to address pressing issues such as sustainability, food, fodder, nutrition, and environmental security, as well as to offer, support, regulate, and to provide cultural services to society. Some of the devoted chapters in the book also go into detail on the scope and restrictions of agroforestry owing to existing regional and climatic barriers/problems, in addition to in-depth discussion of prospects of agroforestry in changed climate scenarios to cater to current and future needs. The major focus of this book is to aggregate up-to-date and recent agroforestry research studies/achievements to make them accessible to all the stakeholders for their use and to disseminate how agroforestry systems are playing a crucial role in tackling many difficulties during the changing climate and environmental crisis.
