Johann Heinrich Pestalozzis 'Meine Nachforschungen über den Gang der Natur in der Entwicklung des Menschengeschlechts'
Free Download Johann Heinrich Pestalozzis 'Meine Nachforschungen über den Gang der Natur in der Entwicklung des Menschengeschlechts' By Dieter J Löwisch
2002 | 159 Pages | ISBN: 3534151968 | PDF | 1 MB

Free Download Johann Friedrich Herbart, Umriß pädagogischer Vorlesungen By Eva Matthes, Carsten Heinze
2003 | 168 Pages | ISBN: 3534159624 | PDF | 1 MB

Job An Introduction and Study Guide Where Shall Wisdom Be Found (T&T Clark's Study Guides to the Old Testament)
Free Download Job: An Introduction and Study Guide: Where Shall Wisdom Be Found? (T&T Clark's Study Guides to the Old Testament) By Katharine J. Dell
2017 | 128 Pages | ISBN: 0567670937 | PDF | 1 MB
In the light of dramatic new interpretative approaches to the Bible this guide to Job follows not only a range of new approaches to the text but also addresses the traditional historical questions and other topical issues. Dell particularly highlights the problem of genre in understanding Job. She shows how problematic the term 'wisdom' is for this unique book, and argues that its radical sentiments earn it, rather, the title of 'parody'. Of all the biblical books it comes closest to tragedy, raising profound questions about its nature and place in the biblical canon. Job's relationship to its ancient Near Eastern counterparts, notably in ancient Mesopotamia, are also closely examined and key theological themes that characterize the book are explored. Finally different approaches - feminist, liberationist, ecological and psychological - are outlined so as to illuminate and inform our own personal readings and generate ever fresh understandings of this enigmatic text.

Jewish Reform Movement in the US The Evolution of the Non–Liturgical Parts of the Central Conference of American Rabbis
Free Download Mara W. Cohen Ioannides, "Jewish Reform Movement in the US: The Evolution of the Non-Liturgical Parts of the Central Conference of American Rabbis"
English | ISBN: 3110501376 | 2017 | 216 pages | EPUB | 5 MB
This volume examines the development of the non-liturgical parts of the Central Conference of American Rabbis' Haggadot. Through an understanding of the changes in American Jewish educational patterns and the CCAR's theology, it explores how the CCAR Haggadah was changed over time to address the needs of the constituency. While there have been many studies of the Haggadah and its development over the course of Jewish history, there has been no such study of the non-liturgical parts of the Haggadah that reflect the needs of the audience it reaches. How the CCAR, the first and largest of American-born Judaisms, addressed the changing needs of its members through its literature for the Passover Seder reveals much about the development of the movement. This in turn provides for the readers of this book an understanding of how American Judaism has developed.

Jewish Perspectives on Hellenistic Rulers
Free Download Jewish Perspectives on Hellenistic Rulers By Tessa Rajak; Sarah Pearce; James Aitken; Jennifer Dines (editors)
2008 | 380 Pages | ISBN: 0520250842 | PDF | 1 MB
This volume gathers sixteen essays on monarchy and power in the Hellenistic period and charts a new approach to Hellenistic history by focusing attention on biblical and Jewish evidence and reading that evidence in new ways. The essays consider the kings, queens, and power figures of the Hellenistic dynasties, as well as ancient Israelite kings, the Babylonian and Persian rulers of the Bible, Parthians, and Romans. The volume also represents a new kind of interpretation of the Greek Bible (Septuagint) and of the Jewish literature of the period, setting them in the context of Hellenistic political thought and practice.
