![]() Free Download Cohomology Rings of Finite Groups: With an Appendix: Calculations of Cohomology Rings of Groups of Order Dividing 64 by Jon F. Carlson , Lisa Townsley , Luis Valeri-Elizondo , Mucheng Zhang English | PDF | 2003 | 782 Pages | ISBN : 1402015259 | 69.5 MB Group cohomology has a rich history that goes back a century or more. Its origins are rooted in investigations of group theory and num ber theory, and it grew into an integral component of algebraic topology. In the last thirty years, group cohomology has developed a powerful con nection with finite group representations. Unlike the early applications which were primarily concerned with cohomology in low degrees, the in teractions with representation theory involve cohomology rings and the geometry of spectra over these rings. It is this connection to represen tation theory that we take as our primary motivation for this book. The book consists of two separate pieces. Chronologically, the first part was the computer calculations of the mod-2 cohomology rings of the groups whose orders divide 64. The ideas and the programs for the calculations were developed over the last 10 years. Several new features were added over the course of that time. We had originally planned to include only a brief introduction to the calculations. However, we were persuaded to produce a more substantial text that would include in greater detail the concepts that are the subject of the calculations and are the source of some of the motivating conjectures for the com putations. We have gathered together many of the results and ideas that are the focus of the calculations from throughout the mathematical literature. ![]() Free Download Coalbed Methane in China: Geological Theory and Development by Yan Song English | EPUB | 2021 | 463 Pages | ISBN : 9813347244 | 128.6 MB The coalbed methane (CBM) reserve in China ranks third in the world with a total resource of 36.8x1012 m3. Exploitation of CBM has an important practical significance to ensure the long-term rapid development of China natural gas industry. Therefore, in 2002, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China set up a national 973 program to study CBM system and resolve problems of CBM exploration and exploitation in China. All the main research results and new insights from the program are presented in this book. ![]() Free Download Cloud Native Data Security with OAuth: A Scalable Zero Trust Architecture by Gary Archer, Judith Kahrer, Michał Trojanowski English | April 15th, 2025 | ISBN: 1098164881 | 387 pages | True EPUB (Retail Copy) | 6.69 MB With the growth of cloud native applications, developers increasingly rely on APIs to make everything work. But security often lags behind, making APIs an attractive target for bad actors looking to access valuable business data. OAuth, a powerful framework for API security, offers tools to protect sensitive business data and enforce dynamic access controls. But to harness its full potential, you need more than standards-you need strategies for adapting to evolving security demands. ![]() Free Download Calum Nicholson, "Climate Migration: Critical Perspectives for Law, Policy, and Research" English | ISBN: 1509961747 | 2023 | 280 pages | PDF | 7 MB This book investigates the epistemological and ethical challenges faced by studies exploring the relations between climate change and human migration. At the heart of the contemporary preoccupation with climate change is a concern for its societal impacts. Among these, its presumed effect on human migration is perhaps the most politically resonant, regardless of whether that politics is oriented towards human or national security. ![]() Free Download Class Meets Land: The Embodied History of Land Financialization by Maria Kaika English | 2025 | ISBN: 0520410076 | 210 Pages | PDF | 3.23 MB ![]() Free Download Civil Society and Local Ownership in the Global South: Responses to Conflict and Militarism by Ibrahim Natil English | 2025 | ISBN: 1032932414 | 126 Pages | True PDF | 1.2 MB ![]() Free Download Max Harris, "Christ on a Donkey - Palm Sunday, Triumphal Entries, and Blasphemous Pageants " English | ISBN: 1641892870 | 2019 | 296 pages | PDF | 5 MB At once scholarly and entertaining, Christ on a Donkey is a study of Palm Sunday processions and related royal entries as both spectacular instances of processional theater and highly charged interpretations of the biblical narrative to which they claim allegiance. Harris's narrative ranges from ancient Jerusalem to modern-day Bolivia, from imperial white horses to wheeled wooden images of Christ on a donkey, from veneration to iconoclasm, and from Christ to Ivan the Terrible. A curious theme emerges: those embodied representations of Christ's entry into Jerusalem that were labeled blasphemous, idolatrous, or superstitious by those in power were arguably most faithful to the biblical narrative of Palm Sunday, while those staged with the purpose of exalting those in power and celebrating military triumph were arguably blasphemous pageants. ![]() Free Download Chequered Past, Uncertain Future: The History of Pakistan by Tahir Kamran English | September 6, 2024 | ISBN: 1789149134 | 568 pages | PDF | 4.50 Mb Spanning thousands of years, a wide-ranging history of Pakistan from the Bronze Age to partition and beyond. ![]() Free Download Kevin A.
