From the list of topics given to DIA, three were chosen to be developed by the Committee for Science and Technology Challenges to U.S. National Security Interests. The first in a series of three workshops was held on April 23-24, 2012. This report summarizes that first workshop which explored the phenomenon known as big data. The objective for the first workshop is given in the statement of task, which explains that that workshop will review emerging capabilities in large computational data to include speed, data fusion, use, and commodification of data used in decision making. The workshop will also review the subsequent increase in vulnerabilities over the capabilities gained and the significance to national security. The committee devised an agenda that helped the committee, sponsors, and workshop attendees probe issues of national security related to so-called big data, as well as gain understanding of potential related vulnerabilities. The workshop was used to gather data that is described in this report, which presents views expressed by individual workshop participants. Big dаta: A Workshop Report is the first in a series of three workshops, held in early 2012 to further the ongoing engagement among the National Research Council's (NRC's) Technology Insight-Gauge, Evaluate, and Review (TIGER) Standing Committee, the scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) community, and the consumers of S&TI products. ![]() Free Download Bibimbap: and other Asian-inspired rice & noodle bowl recipes by Ryland Peters & Small English | October 10th, 2023 | ISBN: 1788795555 | 160 pages | True EPUB | 43.62 MB A collection of over 70 enticing Asian-style one-bowl recipes that feature rice and noodles. ![]() Free Download Beyond the Stethoscope: Miracles in Medicine by Janette Nesheiwat English | December 17, 2024 | ISBN: N/A | ASIN: B0DBP4BY8Q | 275 pages | EPUB | 5.24 Mb Join Dr. Nesheiwat on an extraordinary journey of compassion and faith in Beyond the Stethoscope: Miracles in Medicine where gripping stories of miraculous recoveries, experiences in the ER, and global medical missions illuminate the transformative power of prayer and unwavering dedication to healing and service. ![]() Free Download Beyond the River, Under the Eye of Rome by Timothy C Hart English | 2024 | ISBN: 0472133535 | 369 Pages | True ePUB | 4.95 MB ![]() Free Download Beyond the Handshake: Multilateral Cooperation in the Arab-Israeli Peace Process, 1991-1996 By Dalia Dassa Kaye 2001 | 319 Pages | ISBN: 0231505329 | PDF | 1 MB Challenging conventional conceptions about the meaning and nature of international cooperation, Kaye argues that multilateral cooperation in the Middle East must be understood as a process of interaction rather than a set of outcomes. Presenting theoretical insights of value to students of regional and international relations, Beyond the Handshake provides a unique look at the evolving nature of Arab-Israeli relations.Arabs and Israelis have battled one another in political and military arenas, seemingly continuously, for some fifty years. The 1991 Madrid Peace Conference sought to change this pattern, launching bilateral and multilateral tracks in the Arab-Israeli peace process. As a result, a broad group of Arab states sat down with Israel and began to cooperate on a wide range of regional issues in what became known as the Middle East multilaterals. Yet why did enemies reluctant even to recognize one another choose to cooperate on regional problems? And once this process began, what drove the parties to continue such cooperation or, in some cases, halt their cooperative efforts? Beyond the Handshake addresses these fundamental questions, exploring the origins of the multilaterals and the development of multilateral cooperation in the areas of arms control and regional security, economic development, water management, and the environment. Dalia Dassa Kaye, challenging conventional concepts of cooperation, argues that multilateral cooperation in the Middle East must be appreciated as a process of interaction rather than solely as a set of outcomes. Presenting theoretical insights of value to students of regional and international relations, Beyond the Handshake provides a unique look at the evolving nature of Arab-Israeli relations and exposes the foundation the multilateral peace process laid for future regional cooperation in the Middle East. ![]() Free Download Beyond the Clouds: Navigating Childhood Depression with Love by REMOUN GORGE English | October 31, 2024 | ISBN: N/A | ASIN: B0D8CJLK9W | 219 pages | EPUB | 0.29 Mb Beyond the Clouds: Navigating Childhood Depression with Love ![]() Free Download Beyond the Binary: Gender and Legal Personhood in Islamic Law by Saadia Yacoob English | 2024 | ISBN: 0520393805 | 178 Pages | True ePUB | 2.2 MB ![]() Free Download Beyond Suspicion: The Moral Clash between Rootedness and Progressive Liberalism by Nissim Mizrachi English | 2024 | ISBN: 0520382854 | 304 Pages | Mobi (True) | 7.9 MB ![]() Free Download Beyond No: Harnessing the Power of Resistance for Positive Organizational Growth English | 2025 | ISBN: 1394303777 | 215 Pages | PDF | 1.1 MB Beyond No: Harnessing the Power of Resistance for Organizational Growth is a thought-provoking exploration of the concept of resistance-something that is bound to arise within every organization in response to new projects, policies, or initiatives. Rather than seeing resistance as an inconvenience that needs to be eliminated, this book invites readers to take a new approach to different types of resistance, both hidden and obvious, and instead view resistance as a guiding light to discover objective differences, dissatisfaction, criticism of procedures, or different assessments or values. |
