Piezoelektrische Biegewandler
Free Download Piezoelektrische Biegewandler: Zur Physik des statischen und dynamischen Verhaltens
Deutsch | 2025 | ISBN: 3662703890 | 542 Pages | PDF (True) | 16 MB

Physics of Ion Impact Phenomena
Free Download Physics of Ion Impact Phenomena by Deepak Mathur
English | PDF | 1991 | 302 Pages | ISBN : 3642843522 | 40.6 MB
During the last ten years an unprecedented effort has been directed towards study of the dynamics of ion collision phenomena in the gas phase, usually with a view to applications in diverse areas, ranging from fusion reactors and lasers to ionospheric and interstellar chemistry and gaseous electronics. The principal aim of this volume is to present a succinct overview of contemporary interests and trends in the field of low energy ion-electron and ion-atom (molecule) collision physics, with emphasis on fundamental aspects. Researchers and students will become acquainted, in a general and fairly non-specialized fashion, with recent progress in this area of continuing intense activity. The material is divided into two parts, dealing with atomic ions and molecular ions. Each of the nine chapters has been prepared by authors who are amongst the most eminent practitioners of contemporary ion collision physics. The book is dedicated to Professor J.B. Hasted, one of the pioneering workers who, in the course of his forty year career, helped establish atomic collision physics as a field in its own right.

Physics of Crystalline Dielectrics Volume 2 Electrical Properties
Free Download Physics of Crystalline Dielectrics: Volume 2 Electrical Properties by Ivan Stepanovich Zheludev
English | PDF | 1971 | 309 Pages | ISBN : 146158986X | 24.3 MB
Research in solid-state physics in general and in the physics of dielectrics in particular has grown rapidly in scope and quan tity in the last twenty-five years. In the fifties and early sixties, there was an upsurge of interest in ferroelectricity, piezoelectrici ty, and pyroelectricity. The classical physics of dielectrics, rep resented by books of H. Frohlich, C. P. Smyth, G. I. Skanavi, and A. von Hippel, is now unthinkable without ferroelectricity. The structure and properties of ferroelectrics have been described in a number of books and reviews, including those of W. Kanzig, H. D. Megaw, F. Jona and G. Shirane, W. J. Merz and E. Fatuzzo. The present work deals with the physics of crystalline di electrics and is based on the investigations carried out by scien tists throughout the world. But, understandably, the emphasis is on the research done in the USSR, particularly in the author's labo ratory. A special feature of this two-volume treatise is the pro minent place given to the symmetry and structure of dielectrics and to the importance of spontaneous electric polarization in many properties of crystals. In fact, these aspects take up the whole of the first volume. The second volume is concerned mainly with various properties and phenomena whose nature is illustrated by considering specific crystals. Thus, for example, the phenomena of polarization, piezoelectricity, electrostriction, etc. , are first discussed in detail. Then follow descriptions of these phenomena in specific compounds.

Physical Approach to Short-Term Wind Power Prediction
Free Download Physical Approach to Short-Term Wind Power Prediction by Matthias Lange , Ulrich Focken
English | PDF | 2006 | 214 Pages | ISBN : 3540256628 | 6.8 MB
The effective integration of wind energy into the overall electricity supply is a technical and economical challenge because the availability of wind power is determined by fluctuating meteorological conditions. This book offers an approach to the ultimate goal of the short-term prediction of the power output of winds farms. Starting from basic aspects of atmospheric fluid dynamics, the authors discuss the structure of winds fields, the available forecast systems and the handling of the intrinsic, weather-dependent uncertainties in the regional prediction of the power generated by wind turbines. This book addresses scientists and engineers working in wind energy related R and D and industry, as well as graduate students and nonspecialists researchers in the fields of atmospheric physics and meteorology.

Photorefractive Materials and Their Applications 1 Basic Effects
Free Download Photorefractive Materials and Their Applications 1: Basic Effects by Peter Günter, Jean-Pierre Huignard
English | PDF | 2006 | 430 Pages | ISBN : 038725191X | 7.3 MB
This is the first volume of a set of three within the Springer Series in Optical Sciences, and is devoted to photorefractive effects, photorefractive materials, and their applications. Since the publication of our first two Springer books on Photorefractive Materials and Their Applications (Topics in Applied Physics, Vols. 61 and 62) almost 20 years ago, a lot of research has been done in this area. New and often expected effects have been discovered, theoretical models developed, known effects finally explained, and novel applications proposed. We believe that the field has now reached a high level of maturity, even if research continues in all areas mentioned above and with new discoveries arriving quite regularly. We therefore have decided to invite some of the top experts in the field to put together the state of the art in their respective fields. This after we had been encouraged to do so for more than ten years by the ✅Publisher, due to the fact that the former volumes were long out of print.
