Mareš English | PDF (True) | 2017 | 585 Pages | ISBN : 3319458973 | 14.5 MB Features twenty-five chapter contributions from an international array of distinguished academics based in Asia, Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, and the USA. This multi-author contributed volume provides an up-to-date and authoritative overview of cutting-edge themes involving the thermal analysis, applied solid-state physics, micro- and nano-crystallinity of selected solids and their macro- and microscopic thermal properties. Distinctive chapters featured in the book include, among others, calorimetry time scales from days to microseconds, glass transition phenomena, kinetics of non-isothermal processes, thermal inertia and temperature gradients, thermodynamics of nanomaterials, self-organization, significance of temperature and entropy. Advanced undergraduates, postgraduates and researchers working in the field of thermal analysis, thermophysical measurements and calorimetry will find this contributed volume invaluable. This is the third volume of the triptych volumes on thermal behaviour of materials; the previous two receiving thousand of downloads guaranteeing their worldwide impact. ![]() Free Download Third Angel, "There's A Room: Three Performance Texts by Third Angel " English | ISBN: 1786827522 | 2019 | 200 pages | EPUB | 12 MB There's A Room brings together three works by Third Angel: ![]() Free Download There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America by Brian Goldstone English | 2025 | ISBN: 0593237145 | 448 Pages | True ePUB | 1.45 MB ![]() Free Download Theory of Applied Robotics: Kinematics, Dynamics, and Control (2nd Edition) by Reza N. Many of the new topics introduced here are a direct result of student feedback that helped refine and clarify the material. The intention of this book was to develop material that the author would have liked to have had available as a student. ![]() Free Download Richard M. Ryckman, "Theories of Personality Ed 10" English | ISBN: 1111830665 | 2012 | 544 pages | PDF | 43 MB Merging the best of classic and contemporary research, THEORIES OF PERSONALITY, 10E takes a unique "theory by theory" approach that carefully guides readers through major theories on their way to a solid working knowledge of personality. Offering a straightforward presentation, the book provides a framework that defines personality and emphasizes the science of personality before introducing the basic concepts and principles of the major theoretical positions. It concludes by noting the ways in which the different theories stimulate additional research efforts and by presenting five current research trends resulting from the work of these earlier theorists. ![]() Free Download Theories and Experiments in High-Energy Physics by Arnold Perlmutter, Susan M. Widmayer English | PDF | 1975 | 486 Pages | ISBN : 1461344662 | 26.4 MB This volume contains a portion of the presentations given at the session on High Energy Physics and Astro physics of Orbis Scientiae II, held at the Center for Theoretical Studies, University of Miami, from January 20 through January 24, 1975. This, second in the new series of meetings held at the CTS, strove to implement the goals professed in the organization of Orbis Scientiae in 1974, namely to encourage scientists in several disciplines to exchange views, not only with colleagues who share similar research interests, but also to acquaint scientists in other fields with the leading ideas and current results in each area repre sented. Thus, an effort has been made to include papers in each session that discuss fundamental issues in a way which is comprehensible to scientists who are specialists in other areas. Also in keeping with the philosophy of Orbis Scientiae, the major topics each year are to be varied, with the invariant being the inclusion of developments in fundamental physics. The discussions of the current state of the art in high energy physics represented in this volume include new theories and experiments in the field. v PREFACE Special gratitude is due to the following for their contributions as organizers and moderators of the ses sions on high energy physics and astrophysics: Abdus Salam, Jogesh Pati, Karl Strauch, O. W. Greenberg, Sheldon Glashow, George Sudarshan and W. John Cocke. The editors wish to express their appreciation to Mrs. Helga Billings and Mrs. ![]() Free Download Theoretical Physics on the Personal Computer by Erich W. Zimmermann sent us diskettes, on which the graphics software of the book is adapted to the require ments of the FORTRAN-77 compiler by MICROSOFT. Readers interested in these adaptations should contact the authors. Tiibingen, January 1988 E. W. Schmid, G. Spitz v Preface to the German Edition This book is based on the lecture course "Computer applications in Theo retical Physics", which has been offered at the University of Tiibingen since 1979. This course had as its original aim the preparation of students for a nu merical diploma course in theoretical physics. It soon became clear, however, that the course provides a valuable supplement to the fundamental lectures in theoretical physics. Whereas teaching in this field had previously been prin cipally characterised by the derivation of equations, it is now possible to give deeper understanding by means of application examples. A graphical presen tation of numerical results proves to be important in emphasizing the physics. Interaction with the machine is also valuable. At the end of each calculation the computer should ask the question: "Repeat the calculation with new data (yes/no)?". The student can then answer "yes" and input the new data, e.g.Floppy disk/supplementary electronic material no longer available. ![]() Free Download Their Right to Speak: Women's Activism in the Indian and Slave Debates By Alisse Portnoy 2009 | 306 Pages | ISBN: 0674042220 | PDF | 1 MB In this groundbreaking study, Portnoy links antebellum Indian removal debates with crucial, simultaneous debates about African Americans-abolition of slavery and African colonization-revealing ways European American women negotiated prohibitions to make their voices heard. ![]() Free Download The battle of Tannenberg: Russia's Catastrophe in the Shadow of WWI: How Germany Crushed an Empire in 1914 (Forgotten Battles) by Lina De Marco English | February 14, 2025 | ISBN: N/A | ASIN: B0DX8763WW | 103 pages | EPUB | 0.52 Mb "Dive into the harrowing story of The Battle of Tannenberg: Russia's Catastrophe in the Shadow of WWI, where Germany's tactical brilliance crushed the Russian Empire in 1914.
