Free Download Marc-Oliver Pleinert, "Testing Quantum Theory with Higher-Order Interference in Many-Particle Correlations "
English | ISBN: 3031044533 | 2022 | 215 pages | EPUB | 31 MB
The structure of quantum theory permits interference of indistinguishable paths. At the same time, however, it also limits such interference to certain orders and any higher-order interference is prohibited. This thesis develops and studies concepts to test quantum theory with higher-order interference using many-particle correlations, the latter being generally richer and typically more subtle than single-particle correlations. It is demonstrated that quantum theory in general allows for interference up to order 2M in M-particle correlations. Depending on the mutual coherence of the particles, however, the related interference hierarchy can terminate earlier. In this thesis, we show that mutually coherent particles can exhibit interference of the highest orders allowed. We further demonstrate that interference of mutually incoherent particles truncates already at order M+1, although interference of the latter is principally more multifaceted than their coherent counterpart. We introduce two families of many-particle Sorkin parameters, whose members are expected to be all zero when quantum mechanics holds. As proof of concept, we demonstrate the disparate vanishing of such higher-order interference terms as a function of coherence in experiments with mutually coherent and incoherent sources. Finally, we investigate the influence of exotic kinked or looped quantum paths, which are permitted by Feynman's path integral approach, in such setups.

Free Download Tensors For Pedestrians: An Introduction To Multilinear Operators, Forms And Curvatures
English | 2026 | ISBN: 9819811627 | 519 Pages | PDF (True) | 24 MB
Tensor for Pedestrians is an accessible aid for physics and engineering undergraduates who seek a deeper understanding of tensors at an intuitive level. The book is intended as a self-study introduction to differential geometry, curvature, and Cartan moving frames. The subjects treated are planned to transit the student from the standard vector calculus taught in introductory courses towards modern differential geometry with its various applications. Presentation of the material is leisurely paced ― as befits pedestrian learners. Chapters are self contained and equations in the text are fully explained without obscure and annoying gaps. The book is richly supplemented by many examples and detailed problems and solutions at the end of each chapter. All in all, the book will enable a beginner or an intermediate learner to explore and appreciate the beauty of the fundamental concepts presented.

Free Download Pradeep Ray, "Technology Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development "
English | ISBN: 9811920524 | 2022 | 356 pages | EPUB | 33 MB
This book discusses the need for entrepreneurship for sustainable development from the perspective of Asia, the fastest growing region in the world. The world is now witnessing a spectacular rise of technology entrepreneurship, involving mobile phones, artificial intelligence, geospatial information systems and social media. On the other hand, governments all over the world, particularly those in low and medium income countries, are facing severe resource constraints in developing the livelihood and well-being of citizens. Although many non-government organizations (NGOs) have worked on various development projects in a number of social sectors such as health, education, disabilities, poverty alleviation and environment, there is still substantial scope for technological innovation, including more efficient, effective and user-friendly solutions in different parts of the world. This book is organized into 2 parts and consists of 17 chapters. The first part explores education and well-being, and the second part discusses the climate, environment and disaster management.

Free Download Teaching Trump: Critical Issues in History and Civics Education
English | 2026 | ISBN: 1032757477 | 191 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 30 MB
Asking questions about how and when Trump's presidency should be studied posits that history teachers must engage with this history now. The author points to the events that the January 6th Commission called a "stain on our history" and makes the argument that these events, if ignored, could stain the idea of history itself, shrouding it in a mythical haze and relegating history teachers to merely marginalized storytellers. As such, it offers ideas on engaging students with the facts and sources of the Trump presidency and placing Trump in the larger context of American political history. It specifically centers the notion of "historical thinking" as a guiding principle for the teaching of history and the study of the Trump presidency in particular.
