The ODE/IM correspondence, which is a nontrivial relation between the spectral analysis of ordinary differential equations and the functional relation approach to two-dimensional quantum integrable models, is the main subject. This correspondence was first discovered by Dorey and Tateo (and Bazhanov, Lukyanov, and Zamolodchikov) in 1998, where the relation between the Schrodinger equation with a monomial potential and the functional equation called the Y-system was found. This correspondence is an example of the mysterious link between classical and quantum integrable systems, which produces many interesting applications in mathematical physics, including exact WKB analysis, the quantum Seiberg-Witten curve, and the AdS-CFT correspondence. In this book, the authors explain some basic notions of the ODE/IM correspondence, where the ODE can be formulated as a linear problem associated with affine Toda field equations. The authors then apply the approach of the ODE/IM correspondence to the exact WKB periods in quantum mechanics with a polynomial potential. Deformation of the potential leads to wall-crossing phenomena in the TBA equations. The exact WKB periods can also be regarded as the quantum periods of the four-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories in the Nekrasov-Shatashvili limit of the Omega background. The authors also explain the massive version of the ODE/IM correspondence based on the affine Toda field equations, which also has an application to the minimal surface, and the gluon scattering amplitudes in the AdS/CFT correspondence. ![]() Free Download OCP Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 21 Developer (Exam 1Z0-830) Java SE 17 Developer (Exam 1Z0-829) Programmer's Guide English | 2025 | ASIN : B0DT4WPS76 | 3285 Pages | EPUB | 273 MB ![]() Free Download OAuth 2.0 Cookbook: Protect your web applications using Spring Security English | 2017 | ISBN: 9781788295963 | 412 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 8 MB OAuth 2.0 is a standard protocol for authorization and focuses on client development simplicity while providing specific authorization flows for web applications, desktop applications, mobile phones, and so on. However, in today's day and age, insomnia and other sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, are increasing rapidly. This new book details the nutraceuticals from foods that help to promote good health and optimum sleep. The authors discuss the importance of sleep, the role of diet in sleep, the role of specific vitamins and minerals, amino acids and opioids as nutraceuticals for sleep, newer technologies for use and delivery of nutraceuticals for treating insomnia, and more. The book not only explores nutraceuticals that promote optimum sleep but also details foods that cause insomnia, such as processed, chemical-rich, and refined foods. Chapters also cover commensal and symbiotic microbes, microbial metabolites, and bacteriocins and their impact on sleep. A chapter on the ethical issues related to addiction to nutraceuticals for sleep induction is also included. ![]() Free Download Nutraceuticals in Arthritis and Psoriasis: Management and Prevention of Diseases (AAP Advances in Nutraceuticals) by Meenakshi Jaiswal, Raj K. The book relates the recent scientific evidence on the effectiveness of each of these nutraceutical treatments, offering case studies, results of clinical studies, and more. ![]() Free Download Numerical Methods for Extreme Responses of Dynamical Systems: Finite Dimensional Models English | 2025 | ISBN: 3031750225 | 322 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 60 MB This book constructs input finite dimensional (FD) models that are amendable for numerical calculations and provides accurate representations for responses of dynamical systems to these inputs, i.e., numerical solutions of stochastic equations. It establishes conditions under which numerical solutions of these equations deliver accurate estimates of extreme responses of dynamical systems that are needed to, for example, predict extreme weather events and design reliable aircrafts. It is intended to serve a broad audience including graduate students, researchers, engineers, scientists and applied mathematicians interested in the formulation and solutions of complex stochastic problems. ![]() Free Download Gréte Dalmi, "Null Subjects in Slavic and Finno-Ugric: Licensing, Structure and Typology " English | ISBN: 1501520229 | 2022 | 407 pages | EPUB | 2 MB Even though null subjects have been extensively studied in the past four decades, there is a growing interest in partial null subject languages (e.g. Finnish) and a subtler classification of null subject phenomena overall. This volume aims at contributing to this trend, focusing on Slavic and Finno-Ugric groups, with some extension to Baltic and Samoyedic languages. Interestingly, these groups offer an impressive array of macro- and microvariation. Moreover, given an increasing interest towards the internal structure of the pronominal elements and the role of various types of topics in the left periphery of the sentence structure, the enterprise taken up in this book is to investigate lexical and null, referential and generic subjects in order to understand and compare their feature composition, licensing conditions, and structural properties. Rather than trying to squeeze the studied languages into a predefined set of parameters, this volume highlights some properties that may lead to a refinement of the existing generalizations. It brings together contributors from both generative and typological traditions and will be of interest to any researcher willing to investigate argument-drop in a wider crosslinguistic perspective. ![]() Free Download Nuclear and Particle Physics with Cosmology: Nuclear physics by Jyotirmoy Guha English | October 20, 2024 | ISBN: 0750350253 | 732 pages | MOBI | 13 Mb As the first volume of a two-volume set, this book covers nuclear physics and can be treated as a complete course on the subject. The majority of topics in undergraduate and postgraduate courses on nuclear physics are covered, such as radioactivity, nuclear models, nuclear reaction, nuclear fission and fusion, deuteron problem and scattering. ![]() Free Download Nuclear Radiation Interactions English | 2025 | ISBN: 9819800382 | 454 Pages | PDF (True) | 19 MB The urgency to address climate change and the diminishing sustainability of fossil fuels has propelled nuclear energy into the forefront of global energy solutions.
