Proceedings By Andrzej Jankowski, Andrzej Skowron (auth.), Aijun An, Jerzy Stefanowski, Sheela Ramanna, Cory J. Butz, Witold Pedrycz, Guoyin Wang (eds.) 2007 | 588 Pages | ISBN: 3540725296 | PDF | 12 MB This volume contains the papers selected for presentation at the 11th Int- national Conference on Rough Sets, Fuzzy Sets, Data Mining, and Granular Computing (RSFDGrC 2007), a part of the Joint Rough Set Symposium (JRS 2007) organized by Infobright Inc. and York University. JRS 2007 was held for the ?rst time during May 14-16, 2007 in MaRS Discovery District, Toronto, Canada. It consisted of two conferences: RSFDGrC 2007 and the Second Int- national Conference on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technology (RSKT 2007). The two conferences that constituted JRS 2007 investigated rough sets as an emerging methodology established more than 25 years ago by Zdzis law Pawlak. Roughsettheoryhasbecomeanintegralpartofdiversehybridresearchstreams. In keeping with this trend, JRS 2007 encompassed rough and fuzzy sets, kno- edgetechnologyanddiscovery, softandgranularcomputing, dataprocessingand mining, while maintaining an emphasis on foundations and applications. RSFDGrC 2007 followed in the footsteps of well-established international initiatives devoted to the dissemination of rough sets research, held so far in Canada, China, Japan, Poland, Sweden, and the USA. RSFDGrC was ?rst - ganized as the 7th International Workshop on Rough Sets, Data Mining and Granular Computing held in Yamaguchi, Japan in 1999. Its key feature was to stress the role of integrating intelligent information methods to solve real-world, large, complex problems concerned with uncertainty and fuzziness. RSFDGrC achieved the status of a bi-annual international conference, starting from 2003 in Chongqing, China. ![]() Free Download Roman Army Units in the Western Provinces (3): 4th-5th Centuries AD by Raffaele D'Amato and Raffaele Ruggeri English | 2024 | ISBN: 1472862686 | 51 Pages | True PDF | 12.6 MB ![]() Free Download Robots, Automation and the Innovation Economy English | 2025 | ISBN: 1032934239 | 222 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 5 MB Cascades of new technologies and innovations are entering our lives so fast that it is difficult for us to adapt to one innovation before the next becomes embedded into our everyday lives. What happens when the changes brought by technology are so profound that they affect all aspects of our lives? This book explores the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent robots on individuals, organizations and society, specifically examining the impact on jobs and workplaces in the future. It provides an understanding of how we can adapt to changes that appear like flocks of black swans. ![]() Free Download Richard Beauchamp by Brindley, David; English | 2024 | ISBN: 1803997176 | 240 pages | True EPUB | 51.46 MB ![]() Free Download Rethinking Knowledge Management: From Knowledge Objects to Knowledge Processes By Mark Aakhus (auth.), Claire R. McInerney, Ronald E. Day (eds.) 2007 | 359 Pages | ISBN: 3540710108 | PDF | 4 MB Rethinking Knowledge Management: From Knowledge Objects to Knowledge Processes readdresses fundamental issues in knowledge management, leading to a new area of study: knowledge processes. These integrate research across a variety of fields, thus reasserting the fundamental insights of knowledge management in organizations and societies. Knowledge processes go far beyond traditional information acquisition and processing by stressing the importance and creative potential of human expression, communication, and learning for successful economic planning and meaningful personal and social existence.McInerney's and Day's superb authors from various disciplines offer new and exciting views on knowledge acquisition, generation, sharing and management in a post-industrial environment. Their contributions discuss problems of knowledge acquisition, handling, and learning from a variety of perspectives. Rather than the traditional notion of stores of knowledge that we hold in our mind, the view presented in this book is that of a constantly changing notion of what we know, of feelings related to that knowledge, and of a more holistic understanding of the act of knowing. ![]() Free Download Responsible Data Science by Peter C. The issues of physical faults, malicious cyber-attacks and external disturbances are studied from the perspective of resilient control. The contents of this book introduce a variety of control schemes in detail, and give simulation or experimental verification cases. To enable readers to learn the resilient control methods of vehicle platoon systems is the main benefit of this book. Meanwhile, this book also benefits researchers, engineers, graduate students in related fields such as nonlinear control, robust control, resilient control, vehicle platoon control, etc. ![]() Free Download Research and Development in Intelligent Systems XXIII: Proceedings of AI-2006, the Twenty-sixth SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence By Arjen Hommersom, Perry Groot, Peter Lucas, Michael Balser, Jonathan Schmitt (auth.), Professor Max Bramer BSc, PhD, CEng, FBCS, FIEE, FRSA, Dr Frans Coenen PhD, Dr Andrew Tuson MA, MSc, PhD, MBCS (eds.) 2007 | 419 Pages | ISBN: 184628662X | PDF | 17 MB RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS XXIIIThe papers in this volume are the refereed technical papers presented at AI-2006, the Twenty-sixth SGAI International Conference on Innovative Techniques and Applications of Artificial Intelligence, held in Cambridge in December 2006.They present new and innovative developments in the field, divided into sections on AI Techniques, Knowledge Discovery in Data, Argumentation, Dialogue Games and Optimisation, Knowledge Representation and Management, Semantic Web, and Model Based Systems and Simulation.
