This book focuses on sport ecosystems as a way to understand technological developments such as the digitalization trend. By doing so, it focuses on the interlinkages between different entities in a sport context including profit and non-profit entities. This book takes a new and innovative perspective to how sport is conducted. This book will be among the first to specifically focus on the ecosystem environment as a way of understanding the flexibility and adaptability of those involved in sport. ![]() Free Download Spectral Theory of Differential Operators: Self-Adjoint Differential Operators By V. A. Il'in (auth.) 1995 | 390 Pages | ISBN: 0306110377 | PDF | 9 MB In this fully-illustrated textbook, the author examines the spectral theory of self-adjoint elliptic operators. Chapters focus on the problems of convergence and summability of spectral decompositions about the fundamental functions of elliptic operators of the second order. The author's work offers a novel method for estimation of the remainder term of a spectral function and its Riesz means without recourse to the traditional Carleman technique and Tauberian theorem apparatus. ![]() Free Download Walt Whitman, "Specimen Days " English | ISBN: 0198861389 | 2023 | 336 pages | PDF | 3 MB 'I obey my happy hour's command, which seems curiously imperative. May-be, if I don't do anything else, I shall send out the most wayward, spontaneous, fragmentary book ever printed.' ![]() Free Download Speaking of God in an Inhumane World, Volume 2: Essays on Müntzer, Winstanley, Blake, Stringfellow, and Radical Christianity by Christopher Rowland, edited by David B. Gowler English | October 31, 2024 | ISBN: 1666753890, 1666753882 | True EPUB | 220 pages | 2.3 MB This two-volume collection of essays on the Bible and social justice, liberation theology, and radical Christianity by Christopher Rowland addresses the question raised by Gustavo Gutierrez about how we can speak of God as a loving parent in a world that continues to be so inhumane. These essays by an esteemed New Testament scholar represent intellectual interests of a lifetime as he integrated exegesis of the New Testament texts in their first-century contexts and located their interpretations within the quests for meaning and significance that exist within contemporary society. ![]() Free Download Spatial Data Science by John P. Wilson English | November 26th, 2024 | ISBN: 1589486102 | 250 pages | True EPUB | 4.53 MB Spatial Data Science will show GIS scientists and practitioners how to add and use new analytical methods from data science in their existing GIS platforms. By explaining how the spatial domain can provide many of the building blocks, it's critical for transforming data into information, knowledge, and solutions. ![]() Free Download Space, Knowledge and Power: Foucault and Geography edited by Jeremy W. Crampton, Stuart Elden English | February 1, 2007 | ISBN: 0754646548, 0754646556 | True EPUB | 390 pages | 5 MB Michel Foucault's work is rich with implications and insights concerning spatiality, and has inspired many geographers and social scientists to develop these ideas in their own research. This book, the first to engage Foucault's geographies in detail from a wide range of perspectives, is framed around his discussions with the French geography journal Hérodote in the mid 1970s. ![]() Free Download Soviet Spectatorship: Observing the Body in Physical and Visual Culture (KINO - The Russian and Soviet Cinema) by Samuel Goff English | September 5, 2024 | ISBN: 1350411167 | True EPUB/PDF | 264 pages | 4.2/74.2 MB What distinguished the Soviet 'look'? Software Design by Example: A Tool-Based Introduction with Python therefore builds small versions of the things programmers use in order to demystify them and give some insights into how experienced programmers think. From a file backup system and a testing framework to a regular expression matcher, a browser layout engine, and a very small compiler, we explore common design patterns, show how making code easier to test also makes it easier to reuse, and help readers understand how debuggers, profilers, package managers, and version control systems work so that they can use them more effectively. ![]() Free Download Soft Computing Techniques for Type-2 Diabetes Data Classification English | 2020 | ISBN: 0367236540 | 169 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 14 MB Diabetes Mellitus (DM, commonly referred to as diabetes, is a metabolic disorder in which there are high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Lack of sufficient insulin causes presence of excess sugar levels in the blood. As a result the glucose levels in diabetic patients are more than normal ones. It has symptoms like frequent urination, increased hunger, increase thirst and high blood sugar. There are mainly three types of diabetes namely type-1, type-2 and gestational diabetes. Type-1 DM occurs due to immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys the beta-cells and Type-2 DM occurs due to insulin resistance. Gestational DM occurs in women during pregnancy due to insulin blocking by pregnancy harmones. Among these three types of DM, type-2 DM is more prevalence, and impacting so many millions of people across the world. Classification and predictive systems are actually reliable in the health care sector to explore hidden patterns in the patients data. These systems aid, medical professionals to enhance their diagnosis, prognosis along with remedy organizing techniques. The less percentage of improvement in classifier predictive accuracy is very important for medical diagnosis purposes where mistakes can cause a lot of damage to patient's life. Hence, we need a more accurate classification system for prediction of type-2 DM. Although, most of the above classification algorithms are efficient, they failed to provide good accuracy with low computational cost. In this book, we proposed various classification algorithms using soft computing techniques like Neural Networks (NNs), Fuzzy Systems (FS) and Swarm Intelligence (SI). The experimental results demonstrate that these algorithms are able to produce high classification accuracy at less computational cost. The contributions presented in this book shall attempt to address the following objectives using soft computing approaches for identification of diabetes mellitus. |
