Mit Einem Nachwort Von Peter Trawny" Deutsch | 2021 | ISBN: 3465045645 | PDF | pages: 200 | 3.0 mb When Gunther's book first appeared in 1957, cybernetics was considered the universal science of the future. It had been discovered that basically vacuum cleaners and states work according to the same principles. Gunther was not only a philosopher, versed in German Idealism and logic, but also a fan of science fiction literature. This enabled him to fully grasp the importance of this new way of thinking, with Norbert Wiener as its foremost proponent. The book "Das Bewusstsein der Maschinen" (The Consciousness of Machines) is probably the first philosophical work in the wake of Wiener's fundamental texts to locate and interpret cybernetics in the widest possible context of Western metaphysics. For Gunther - as, incidentally, for his antipode Martin Heidegger - it was clear that cybernetics was destined to eventually change humanity. Unlike Heidegger, however, Gunther enthusiastically welcomed this change, though he was cautious about the possibility of self-aware machines. Since this prognosis of a profoundly universal technological revolution, brought about especially by the computer, has been confirmed, and because, moreover, an even more far-reaching change of the world by robots is already underway, a new look at Gunther's work may remind us of a discussion whose significance we can perhaps only now adequately assess. ![]() English | April 28, 2024 | ISBN: 176126821X | True EPUB | 350 pages | 2.6 MB In the darkest hour, a blood-soaked teenager flees the rural Gerandaroo football oval. The search for transcendence has become more and more the province of New Age weekend workshops. On the other hand, depth psychology that seeks only the transpersonal without the incarnate spirit in the flesh of everyday relationships in history may likewise prove to be a failed enterprise.... In this work, I compare and contrast Boehme's and Jung's experiences with a special focus on the religious or psychological experience of what Erich Neumann calls unitary reality, a ground of being that contains all opposites in potentiality" (from the book) ![]() Free Download Dark Carnival by Ray Bradbury English | 14 Mar. 2024 | ISBN: 0008554315 | True EPUB | 480 pages | 1.2 MB 'Let us now praise Ray Bradbury' ![]() Free Download Dark Calories: How Vegetable Oils Destroy Our Health and How We Can Get It Back by Catherine Shanahan English | June 11th, 2024 | ISBN: 0306832399 | 416 pages | True EPUB | 11.12 MB The New York Times bestselling author of Deep Nutrition explains how eight common seed oils cause the cellular damage that underlies virtually all chronic disease, exposes the corruption that deceives doctors and consumers alike, and gives us a clear roadmap to recovery and rejuvenation. ![]() Free Download Doris Land Mueller, "Daring to Be Different: Missouri's Remarkable Owen Sisters" English | 2010 | ISBN: 0826218970 | EPUB | pages: 152 | 2.7 mb In the 1800s, American women were largely restricted to the private sphere. Most had no choice but to spend their lives in the home, marrying in their teens and living only as wives, mothers, and pillars of domesticity. Even as the women's movement came along midcentury, it focused more on gaining legal and political rights for women than on expanding their career opportunities. So in that time period, in which the options and expectations for women's professional lives were so limited, it is remarkable that three sisters born in the 1850s, the Owen daughters of Missouri, all achieved success and appreciation in their careers. |
