While these terms have been widely used all over the world, particularly in the West, in the construction of identity, they have been considered unworthy of a detailed analysis in the context of Muslim identity. Some scholars argue that Muslim-Christian relations are caught between advocates of homogenization, on the one hand, and supporters of self-affirmation on the other. While the former concept favours relativism, the latter is seen to encourage fanaticism. In addition, such scholars claim that the tension between Muslims and Christians is due to a complex history of rivalry and war, which has led to the issue of Muslims' positive coexistence being elucidated from historical and sociological points of view. There has, until recently, been a lack of scholarly interest in the West in a number of Islamic terms such as Al-Maslahah (the consideration of public interest), and the theological aspects of coexistence have not yet been fully explored, though Muslim scholars and many sociologists and anthropologists stress the significance of Islam as a system of norms and values. Hence, given Muslims' increased visibility, the consideration of religious factors should occupy an important place in the study of globalization and coexistence. This book is an analytical examination of the concept of coexistence, adopting a novel approach to these issues in the English language. Given the paucity of literature regarding a faith-based study of Muslim coexistence, this book elaborates on the theological aspect of Muslims' coexistence in non-Muslim lands, and raises a number of theological questions, arguments and counter-arguments pertinent to this issue. Is it permissible for Muslims to live in a non-Muslim country? Is it permissible for Muslims to acquire non-Muslim citizenship? What are the obstacles? How do Muslims perceive civic duties in non-Muslim countries? Are Muslims obliged to fulfil them? The book presents a number of scholarly discussions from past and contemporary sources, as well as international human rights treaties, which stress the significance of the much-overlooked factor of context. ![]() Free Download The Conceivable Future: Planning Families and Taking Action in the Age of Climate Change by Meghan Elizabeth Kallman, Josephine Ferorelli English | February 6th, 2024 | ISBN: 1538179695 | 384 pages | True EPUB | 2.15 MB "This reassuring consideration of a deeply personal matter teams seamlessly with a reasoned, emphatic call to action." - Booklist, Starred Review ![]() Free Download Partha Niyogi, "The Computational Nature of Language Learning and Evolution " English | ISBN: 0262513390 | 2009 | 482 pages | PDF | 4 MB The introduction of a mathematical and computational framework within which to analyze the interplay between language learning and language evolution. ![]() Free Download Henk J. Verkuyl, "The Compositional Nature of Tense, Mood and Aspect: Volume 167 " English | ISBN: 1108839282 | 2021 | 250 pages | PDF | 5 MB Bringing together fifty years' worth of cross-linguistic research, this pioneering monograph explores the complex interaction between tense, mood and aspect. It looks at the long way of combining elementary semantic units at the bottom of phrase structure up to and including the top of a sentence. Rejecting ternary tense as blocking compositionality, it introduces three levels obtained by binary tense oppositions. It also counters an outdated view on motion by assuming that change is not expressed as having an inherent goal but rather as dynamic interaction between different number systems that allows us to package information into countable and continuous units. It formally identifies the central role of a verb in a variety of argument structures and integrates adverbial modifiers into the compositional structure at different tense levels of phrase structure. This unique contribution to the field will be essential reading for advanced students and researchers in the syntax-semantics interface. ![]() Free Download Sarah Mae, "The Complicated Heart: Loving Even When It Hurts" English | 2019 | ISBN: 1462796982 | EPUB | pages: 240 | 3.5 mb How do you forgive when the wound is still open? ![]() Free Download The Complete Remote Pilot by Bob Gardner, David Ison English | November 15, 2022 | ISBN: 1644252074 | 200 pages | MOBI | 41 Mb This textbook is for anyone interested in pursuing and obtaining a Remote Pilot Certificate, which is required in order to operate drones for commercial use.
