The tradition commenced in the decades after 2200 BC and continued until about 1600 BC. During this time there was a significant evolution in burial practice. The earliest burials of this tradition were single inhumation burials in a cist, apparently always accompanied by a decorated funerary bowl or vase. In time the practice of burial in a pit was added to the tradition, and cremation began to supersede inhumation. Additional varieties of accompanying funerary vessel were now found in many, but not in all, burials. From about 2000 BC onwards cremation burials inserted into an inverted urn became increasingly common. The number and sophistication of grave goods, in addition to pottery, accompanying the burials gradually increased through the era. ![]() Free Download Bulgaria - Culture Smart!: The Essential Guide to Customs & Culture by Juliana Tzvetkova, Culture Smart! More specifically, it investigates how the street-scale built environment influences pedestrians/cyclists' mode choice and route choice behavior and examines user preferences for the micro-level built environment around metro stations. The focus on a second-tier city is motivated primarily to expand the set of Chinese cities where the effects of the built environment on pedestrian/cyclist mode and route choice have been studied. Results demonstrate the effects of the street-scale built environment on pedestrian flows. The effects are higher for the main road, which is directly connected with the metro station. The findings of this book are expected to support the design of preferred walking/biking built environments around a metro station. This book appeals to urbanists, planners, engineers, policy makers, and those interested in a wide-ranging overview of slow/green transportation and built environment promotion. These methods not only help to understand the quantitative relationship between built environment design and travel behavior but also support the evaluation and assessment of built environment design in urban planning projects. It reduces the gap in our understanding of the quantitative relationship between the micro-level built environment and pedestrians/cyclists' transportation mode and route choice around the metro station. Both stated choice data and revealed choice data were used. An extended set of micro-level built environment attributes was developed. Besides the widely studied transportation-related factors, street-level built environment factors were studied using quantitative methods. ![]() Free Download Building, Training and Hardware for LLM AI: A Comprehensive Guide to Large Language Model Development, Training, and Hardware Infrastructure by Et Tu Code English | February 27, 2024 | ASIN: B0CWPSPK23 | 418 pages | PNG (.rar) | 103 Mb ![]() Free Download Building and Automating Penetration Testing Labs in the Cloud: Set up cost-effective hacking environments for learning cloud security on AWS, Azure, and GCP by Joshua Arvin Lat English | October 13, 2023 | ISBN: 1837632391 | 562 pages | PDF | 31 Mb Take your penetration testing career to the next level by discovering how to set up and exploit cost-effective hacking lab environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP ![]() Free Download Jessica Vanderslice, "Building a Strong Personal Brand: Writing and building professional, elegant, and authentic CV's, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, and Biographies for any industry. This requires that it be integrated into institutions outside of schools and universities. Doing so will be challenging, as many of these institutions are structured on domination and control, not on partnership and shared power. In particular, U.S. criminal justice, social services and prevention programs, and sport have tended to be dominator-modeled. This book offers analysis and suggestions for overcoming these challenges and for integrating peace education into important social institutions. Creativity will be one of the most useful assets in moving peace education from schools to other institutions. This book argues that with creative visioning, collaboration, and implementation, peace education can be integrated into the most challenging situations and provide hope for holistic changes in our society. ![]() Free Download Building a Cyber Risk Management Program by Brian Allen English | 2024 | ISBN: 9781098147785 | 302 pages | PDF | 2.88 Mb Cyber risk management is one of the most urgent issues facing enterprises today.
