Man ist also auf effiziente, präzise und robuste numerische Approximationsverfahren auf Computern angewiesen. Wir führen in diese numerischen Verfahren ein und geben auch hier konkrete Beispiele. Dabei zeigen wir, welche analytischen Eigenschaften notwendige Voraussetzungen für die Verwendung bestimmter Verfahren sind. So können die Ergebnisse aus dem analytischen Teil direkt verwendet werden.Zu jedem Kapitel finden sich Übungsaufgaben, mit deren Hilfe der Stoff eingeübt und vertieft werden kann.
