Global Animation Theory offers detailed and diverse insights into the methodologies of contemporary animation studies, as well as the topics relevant for today's study of animation. The contact between practical and theoretical approaches to animation at Animafest Scanner, is closely connected to host of this event, the World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb. It has given way to academic writing that is very open to practical aspects of animation, with several contributors being established not only as animation scholars, but also as artists. This anthology presents, alongside an introduction by the editors and a preface by well known animation scholar Giannalberto Bendazzi, 15 selected essays from the first three Animafest Scanner editions. They explore various significant aspects of animation studies, some of them still unknown to the English speaking communities. ![]() Free Download Magdalena Bak-Maier, "Get Productive!: Boosting Your Productivity And Getting Things Done" English | ISBN: 0857083465 | 2012 | 240 pages | EPUB | 2 MB Rewire your brain and overcome the 20 key time drains that diminish productivity ![]() Free Download Functional Kotlin English | 2023 | ISBN: 8395452888 | 316 Pages | AZW3 MOBI | 14 MB Kotlin is a powerful language that has already revolutionized Android and backend development, but it also has powerful support for functional programming. Its amazing features, like functional collection processing, DSL builders, scope functions, or context receivers, help developers achieve intuitive and expressive functional syntax. Additionally, Kotlin's extensibility allows libraries like Arrow to promote an even more functional style, all while keeping proper type safety, stability, and performance. Thanks to all this, Kotlin has become the promised land for many developers who are passionate about functional programming in real-life applications. ![]() Free Download Functional Kotlin (Kotlin for Developers) by Marcin Moskała English | October 19, 2022 | ISBN: 8395452888 | 258 pages | PDF, EPUB | 14 Mb Functional Kotlin ![]() Free Download Fine-Grained Image Analysis: Modern Approaches English | 2023 | ISBN: 3031313739 | 353 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 58 MB This book provides a comprehensive overview of the fine-grained image analysis research and modern approaches based on deep learning, spanning the full range of topics needed for designing operational fine-grained image systems. However, one of the main constraints to livestock development and the underlying cause of the low productivity in many developing countries is inadequate nutrition associated with inefficient utilization of forages and fibrous feed resources. In many countries, fibrous feed makes up the bulk of available feed resource base, which is characterized by scarcity and fluctuating supply in the quantity and quality of feed resources, nutrient imbalance as seen in many native pastures, grasslands and crop residues-based feeding systems with limited use of commercial concentrate feeds such as soybean, cottonseed and groundnut meals, etc. Furthermore, the production of methane, an important greenhouse gas (GHG), from ruminants fed highly fibrous diets such as straws and stover is higher than those animals fed better quality forages or concentrate diets. Recent research shows that supplementing livestock diets with exogenous fibre degrading enzymes can improve feed utilization by enhancing intake, fibre degradation in the rumen and overall digestibility of fibrous feeds which in turn leads to improved animal performance, farmers' income, and a reduction in GHG emissions. The book editors would like to acknowledge the Joint FAO/IAEA Division of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture for funding part of the studies that make up some of these chapters and were part of the final reports of a coordinated research project financed by IAEA. |
