It provides an advanced and in-depth introduction into all major system modeling, coordinated control, and stability analysis issues, and provides useful methodologies and philosophies for developing new topologies and controls for self-organized decentralized operation of microgrid systems. For each topic, a theoretical introduction and overview are backed by very concrete programming examples that enable the reader to not only understand the topic but to develop microgrid simulation models. ![]() English | 2022 | ISBN: 0525429557 | 318 pages | True EPUB | 2.37 MB A memoir of a decade in prison by a well-educated young addict known as the "Apologetic Bandit" ![]() English | 2022 | ISBN: 1785926977 | 274 pages | True PDF EPUB | 9.54 MB Every teacher knows them - the students who are continuously balancing on their chair legs or who prefer to hide in their hoodies all day long. We combine mechanistic and non-mechanistic approaches in the analysis of the function and evolution of organisms, their subagents, and multi-organism systems, and in this way offer a theoretical platform for integrating biosemiotics with both natural science and the humanities/social sciences. Agents are autonomous systems that incorporate knowledge on how to make sense of their environment and use it to achieve their goals. The functions of all agents are supported by mechanisms at the lowest level; however, the explanatory power of mechanistic analysis is not sufficient for complex agents. Non-mechanistic methods rely on the goal-directedness of agents whose dynamics follow self-stabilized dynamic attractors. The properties of attractors depend on stable or slowly changing factors, and such dependencies can be interpreted as sign relations if they are adaptive in nature. Agents can replace or redirect mechanisms on demand in order to preserve their functions; for performing higher-level semiotic functions, mechanisms are thus only means. We assume that mechanism and semiosis are not mutually exclusive, and that simple agents can interpret signs mechanistically. This assumption allows us to extend semiotic analysis to all agents, including ribosomes in cells, computers, and robots. This book challenges established traditions in natural science and the humanities/social sciences: semiotics no longer appears as restricted to humans and rational thinking, and biology is no longer limited to rely exclusively on mechanistic reasoning. ![]() English | 2022 | ISBN: 9811246513 | 221 pages | True PDF EPUB | 33.34 MB This book is concerned with functional methods (nonlinear semigroups of contractions, nonlinear m-accretive operators and variational techniques) in the theory of nonlinear partial differential equations of elliptic and parabolic type. In particular, applications to the existence theory of nonlinear parabolic equations, nonlinear Fokker-Planck equations, phase transition and free boundary problems are presented in details. Emphasis is put on functional methods in partial differential equations (PDE) and less on specific results. ![]() English | 2022 | ISBN: 1989603572 | 162 pages | True EPUB | 2.31 MB Forget everything you learned about selling.Persuasion is not a sales skill-it's a blunt instrument of last resort that sellers use when they don't know how to influence the choices their buyers make. It's the weapon of choice for mindless, uninspired sellers: the sales zombies who have stopped learning and stopped improving. Wouldn't you rather learn how to master the art of selling in, by listening to what your buyers really want?In Sell Without Selling Out, global sales guru, top podcaster, and entrepreneur Andy Paul shows you how to take charge of your own career without selling out to outdated, ineffective sales methods. He reveals the four Sell In pillars that are the indispensable instruments of selling: Connection, Curiosity, Understanding, Generosity. Everything else is mostly a combination of product features, technical specifications and pricing, which your buyers can get from the Internet. What they seek (and deserve) can only come from you: the human... ![]() English | 2022 | ISBN: 1264264097 | 272 pages | EPUB | 3.18 MB Part starter-kit, part encyclopedia, and part inspiration,Self-Made Bossis an essential survival guide for small businesses ![]() English | 2021 | ISBN: 164648035X | 571 pages | True PDF | 8.32 MB We have prepared this Self-Care for New and Student Nurses Instructor's Guide to assist you in class preparation and to offer our thoughts and experience in teaching much of this material.
