The modern world is forcing us to understand emotion in order to cope with new problems such as road rage and epidemic levels of depression, as well as age-old problems such as homicide, genocide and racial tension. This book draws on scholarly research to address, explain and legitimize the role that emotion plays in everyday interaction and in many of the pressing social, moral, and cultural issues that we face today. ![]() Color Harmony For Artists- A Collection Of 100 Color Palettes & 80 Color Scheme Wheels: Pantone 35 Inspirational Color Palettes by Anibal Curtin English | January 6, 2021 | ISBN: N/A | ASIN: B08SGRQ5G7 | 46 pages | Rar (PDF, AZW3) | 7.35 Mb Get a feel for your art-literally! ![]() Classroom Communication and Diversity: Enhancing Instructional Practice By Robert G. Powell, Dana Caseau, Dana Powell 2004 | 253 Pages | ISBN: 0805840257 | PDF | 5 MB Teachers face myriad communication challenges in today's classroom, reflecting the growing diversity of the student body; the ever-increasing number of students; gender issues; and students' learning disabilities. This volume provides a useful framework for helping new and experienced teachers manage the diverse communication challenges they encounter. It also encourages teachers to reflect on how their personal cultures influence their expectations about appropriate classroom communication and ways to demonstrate learning. This textbook is distinctive in its integration of information from a variety of sources to establish a viewpoint that focuses on the needs of the individual learner. Drawing on the research in the communication and education disciplines, authors Robert G. Powell and Dana Caseau provide theoretical models and useful strategies for improving instructional practices. They address the ways in which culture influences communication in the classroom, and assist teachers in developing the skills necessary to meet the needs of the students in their classrooms. Much of the information shared in this text derives from the authors' research and experience in schools and from the experiences of others, including teachers, parents, and children. Their experiences, combined with the cross-disciplinary approach, produce a volume of unique perspectives and considerable insight. Teachers and scholars in the communication and education disciplines will find this text to be a practical and valuable tool for classroom teaching, and it is appropriate for instructional communication courses in the areas of communication and education. ![]() Classic Computer Science Problems in Java by David Kopec English | 2020 | ISBN: 1617297607 | 264 Pages | EPUB MOBI True | 6 MB ![]() Chemical Engineering Computation with MATLAB® by Yeong Koo Yeo English | 2021 | ISBN: 0367547821 | 849 Pages | PDF | 56 MB ![]() Causes and Consequences of Feelings By Leonard Berkowitz 2000 | 24 Pages | ISBN: 0521633257 | PDF | 1 MB Although it is well known that people's feelings can often influence what they remember, how they think, and what they do, systematic investigations of these effects are relatively new. Summarizing much of what has been learned in the past several decades, this book looks at how good and bad feelings arise, and then how they can affect thought and actions. Besides showing the often-suprising ways in which mood can shape judgments and memory, this volume examines, among other things, how emotional arousal influences the accuracy of eyewitness testimony, whether childhood traumas are repressed, and what impact people's feelings have on their susceptibility to persuasive communications. ![]() Canadian Wood-Frame House Construction By Canada Mortgage, Housing Corporation 1998 | 320 Pages | ISBN: 0660172941 | PDF | 45 MB This national bestseller contains planning notes and other practical information on wood-frame house construction. ![]() Calcium Hydroxylapatite Soft Tissue Fillers: Expert Treatment Techniques by Jani Van Loghem English | 2021 | ISBN: 1138055123 | 199 Pages | PDF True | 11 MB ![]() C# 9.0 Pocket Reference: Instant Help for C# 9.0 Programmers by Joseph Albahari English | 2021 | ISBN: 1098101138 | 362 Pages | EPUB | 1.31 MB ![]() Buy it, fix it, sell it: profit!: [a comprehensive guide to no-sweat money-making home rehab] By Kevin Myers 2003 | 313 Pages | ISBN: 0793169380 | PDF | 4 MB Okay, I'll grant that Myers may paint too rosy a picture about what repairs will cost and what the IRS says about taxes. However, in my opinion, it is the most helpful and practical guide I've read about picking up fixer-uppers, rehabbing them, and then selling them for profit. For anyone with some extra money in this bottomed-out economy, now could be the perfect time to pick up this book, study it thoroughly, then begin an all-out search for the lowest priced fixer uppers on the market with potential. After rehabbing, you could sell them cheap and still make a profit. I highly recommend this book. I only wish I had the money to do what I just suggested. Good luck. |
