Ferdinand von Bredow, geboren am 16.5.1884, ermordet in der Nacht vom 30.6.1934, leitete vom Juni 1932 bis zum 30.1.1933 das Ministeramt im Reichswehrministerium und hatte damit die Funktion eines Staatssekretärs inne. Obwohl die SS nach Bredows Ermordung eine gründliche Haussuchung hielt, fielen ihr die Tagebücher nicht in die Hände, die Bredow vom 20.2.1933 bis zum 28.6.1934 geschrieben hatte. Ihr entgingen auch Notizen, die Aufschluss über die letzten Tage vor dem 30.1.1933 geben, insbesondere über Kurt von Hammersteins schwankende Haltung.Die mit diesem Buch erstmals veröffentlichten Tagebücher zeigen, wie sehr Bredow Hitler unterschätzte. Von der nationalen Euphorie nach dem 30.1.1933 nicht unbeeindruckt, teilte Bredow die nationalsozialistische Bewegung in zwei Lager: Wenige "gute" Nationalsozialisten mit "redlichem Bemühen" standen gegen die "Radikalinskis", die es zu bändigen galt. Letzteres erhoffte Bredow sich dringend von Hitler, blieb allerdings skeptisch, ob Hitler dazu in der Lage sei. Auch wenn Bredow seine Hoffnungen auf die Person Hitlers setzte, so sparte er doch nicht mit Kritik, was das Vorgehen gegen die Juden und die Außenpolitik betraf.Bredow wünschte, sich mit seinen Fähigkeiten, seinem Wissen und seinen weitreichenden Verbindungen in den neuen Staat einbringen zu können. Doch wurde gerade dies ihm zum Verhängnis: Hitler und Göring hielten Bredow für so gefährlich, dass sie ihn ermorden ließen.

This book describes a consistent and direct methodology to the analysis and design of analog circuits with particular application to circuits containing feedback. The analysis and design of circuits containing feedback is generally presented by either following a series of examples where each circuit is simplified through the use of insight or experience (someone else's), or a complete nodal-matrix analysis generating lots of algebra. Neither of these approaches leads to gaining insight into the design process easily. The author develops a systematic approach to circuit analysis, the Driving Point Impedance and Signal Flow Graphs (DPI/SFG) method that does not require a-priori insight to the circuit being considered and results in factored analysis supporting the design function. This approach enables designers to account fully for loading and the bi-directional nature of elements both in the feedback path and in the amplifier itself, properties many times assumed negligible and ignored. Feedback circuits are shown to be directly and completely handled with little more effort than that for open loop designs.
