Den Grenzbereich von Staatssymbolik - Farben, Fahnen, Flaggen - und Kunst lotet Philipp Molsberger aus. Die Möglichkeit eines Wechselspiels zwischen Staat und Dichtung belegt abschließend Wolfgang Graf Vitzthum am historischen Beispiel des Kampfes der Brüder Stauffenberg gegen einen "entgrenzten Staat".
