Die Integrationstheorie ist so angelegt, daß vieles auch ohne die Voraussetzung der Verbandseigenschaft gültig bleibt, die Theorie also auch auf Beispiele anwendbar ist, die mit der üblich fOlmulierten Integrationstheorie nicht erfaßt werden können. Jedes Kapitel schließt mit einem Abschnitt "Übungen, Beispiele, Ergänzungen", der als integraler Bestandteil des Ganzen zu sehen ist. Es schien mir manchmal zweckmäßig, der natürlichen Entwicklung gegenüber dem systematischen Autbau den Vorzug zu geben, z. B. indem ein Begriff erst definiert wird, wenn er gebraucht wird, oder indem ein konkretes Beispiel Anlaß zu einer Definition gibt. In einer Vorlesung kann man in dieser Richtung wesentlich weiter gehen, z. B. indem man die Integrationstheorie am Beispiel des elementaren Integrals auf den Treppenfunktionen 1 durchführt, also Lebesgue-L und das Lebesgue-Integral konstruielt und danach feststellt, daß das betrachtete Beispiel schon den allgemeinen Fall enthält, da die gesamte Konstruktion einschließlich der benutzten Beweise auch im allgemeinen Fall gültig bleibt.
