User Requirements for Wireless
Free Download Lene Sørensen, "User Requirements for Wireless "
English | ISBN: 8793237200 | 2015 | 134 pages | PDF | 9 MB
In most IT system development processes, the identification or elicitation of user requirements is recognized as a key building block. In practice, the identification of user needs and wants is a challenge and inadequate or faulty identifications in this step of an IT system development can cause huge problems with the final product. The elicitation of user requirements as such changes according to age groups;, to gender,; to cultural settings,; and into time; and experience in the use of the system/software. User requirements, therefore, cannot be used between projects, IT systems, and different software. That makes the elicitation of user requirements an inherent part of any software development project and a resourceful activity as well. This book provides insights to the process of identifying user requirements and to different types by describing varying case studies in which technologies or software has been developed. A variety of user requirements are provided illustrating the effect of changing the targeted user group with respect to age,; to the context and the different technologies or software as well as to the difference in viewpoint on ways of involving users in the elicitation process. Cases and user requirement elements discussed in the book include: * User requirements elicitation processes for children, construction workers, and farmers* User requirements for personalized services of a broadcast company* Variations in user involvement* Practical elements of user involvement and requirements elicitation* Usable security requirements for design of privacy.

The completely revised and up-dated text in the new second edition reflects the first common effort of urologists, pathologists and cytopathologists to find a unified concept: from conventional cytology to electron microscopy toflow cytometry. The authors' main emphasis is on conveying practical techniques for the collection, concentration, fixation, staining and analysis of cellular material. They clearly discuss the circumstances under which new techniques are advisable and the relevance of these techniques when difficult questions of detail arise. At the same time, basic scientific principles arepresented in comprehensible form. Urbanization in Asia Governance, Infrastructure and the Environment
Free Download Urbanization in Asia: Governance, Infrastructure and the Environment By Kala S. Sridhar, Guanghua Wan (auth.), Kala Seetharam Sridhar, Guanghua Wan (eds.)
2014 | 287 Pages | ISBN: 8132216377 | PDF | 7 MB
This work focuses on urban governance in the developing world, its aim being to bring a holistic perspective to the debate on urban governance in Asia and around the globe. It has been divided into three sections: The first section is on rural interventions as they influence urbanization and its problems/solutions. The second focuses on urban governance, infrastructure programs, service delivery reforms and their evaluation. The third and final section focuses on urbanization and the environment. In the first section, we present evaluations of India's rural programs including the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), and of India's Total Sanitation Campaign. This section covers the transition from rural to urban areas, and highlights coping mechanisms in urban areas and policy implications for urban governance, from the viewpoint of rural migrants. The section on urban governance, infrastructure and service delivery is the most in-depth and consists of papers that present state-of-the-art research on many aspects of infrastructure such as cost and time overruns, risks and their mitigation, assessments of the metro rail, and services such as solid waste management. The focus of the final section is on urbanization and the environment. Here we examine land use change in India, the relationship between urban form and residential energy use in Bandung, Indonesia, and end by depicting a cautiously optimistic view of Asia's urbanization-environment nexus.

Urbanism and Dictatorship A European Perspective
Free Download Harald Bodenschatz, "Urbanism and Dictatorship: A European Perspective "
English | ISBN: 3038216607 | 2015 | 248 pages | PDF | 16 MB

Deutsch | 2006 | pages: 193 | ISBN: 3835060236 | PDF | 10,9 mb
