"This book is a required reading for anyone serious about professionally scoring for film, TV, and video games. Bill Brown has pulled back the curtain on the art form of film and video game scoring in a way no other book has. It's a true insider's look at the craft and business of media scoring, and Bill is extremely generous to share that with us. This book is also chock full of actionable steps readers can immediately apply to their music and careers. It's far more than a technical manual on how to compose for the screen. Rather, Bill works his own personal journey of success into each chapter, which aspiring composers can model. Film, TV, and video games are competitive industries, and Bill lights the path for the reader."
