It engages readers with key debates, examining youth crime and justice in context, and providing a critical assessment of contemporary evaluative research. The editors have produced an analysis of the processes of criminalization and contemporary patterns of youth crime, and seek to develop a formulation of youth justice for the future. Barry Goldson and John Muncie have brought together a leading team of experts to produce the definitive text in the area.
