Yet few people have read his work, even his popular essays. It gives me great pleasure to present to you the eight short essays with guided notes in this book. How best to introduce these essays then to borrow some words written by Albert Einstein for the preface of the book Introduction to the Theory of Relativity written by his colleague Peter Gabriel Bergmann at the Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies;
