An Introduction to Theology

The approach is essentially "problem centered" in the sense that it seeks to analyze and explore the difficulties with certain aspects of Christian theology. The reader is asked to engage in and grapple with important challenges to theology from the philosophical to the psychological and sociological, including philosophical challenges to theology from Plato to the present; the relevance of Creeds for contemporary theology; the conflict between scientific and religious explanations of events; the existence of other religions; and challenges from Marxism, liberalism, and feminism.
