The origin, insertion and action of each muscle is presented along with some clinical conditions that are often associated with dysfunction of these muscles. In the PostureSTAT program many of these muscles are referenced under some of the exercises and stretches so you can flip back to the muscle chapter for a deeper understanding of those muscles.
It also includes three tests to check your posture. It has an overview of the spine and how an unnatural posture affects certain regions of it. It has a chapter on bed studying geared towards students and a chapter full of modifications of the exercises and stretches in the PostureSTAT program for people who drive for hours.
The main focus of this book is to guide you on regaining and maintaining a natural, healthy sitting posture to help decrease back and neck pain, decrease or slow down spinal generation, and increase your energy and focus.
The "how" is explained in the PostureSTAT program. Further instruction and guidance, including timed videos of all of the exercises and stretches, will be given for those people who become a member of The Sitting Society.
