It consists of eight meticulously planned chapters that include interesting examples based on appropriate physical problems. In addition, a large amount of information is embedded in the exercises and their solutions. SciLab is being continually developed and new versions are being regularly released. This book has been written in SciLab version 5.5.2 and programs have been compiled on Linux platform. I have made an honest effort of avoiding any mistake in this book. But even then, some mistakes might have inadvertently crept in. I will be highly grateful to the readers who will point out any mistake.
