Rolf K. Freier, "Aqueous Solutions, vol. 2: Supplements/Ergänzungen"
English | 1978 | pages: 545 | ISBN: 3110065371 | PDF | 14,7 mb
The two volumes aim to bring together into a single work all data, at present scattered through numerous literary works, on the physical and chemical qualities of water - especially its great significance as a solvent. Volume 1 contains primarily the solubilities and redox potentials of important inorganic and organic compounds. The compounds marked by an asterisk refer to volume 2 (supplement). There the user will find further information. Volume 2 contains mainly excerpts from important texts, tables, illustrations, equations of reaction etc. from original papers - besides other extensive information. Therefore the two volumes represent a compact collection of data on the physical and in particular the chemical values of water.
It is not possible for a collection of this kind to be complete. The editor and publisher therefore invite the user to send them any relevant data which would serve to supplement the present edition. Any other critical comments will also be gratefully received.
