Бngel Jimйnez Colуn, Ed. D, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; he is a son of Puerto Rican parents, native of the town of San Sebastiбn. They returned to their native country in 1970, with three children, he was the eldest. His entire childhood developed on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, in the town of Bayamуn, where he completed all his elementary and High Scholl studies. He is the father of five beautiful children and has dedicated his professional career to the area of public safety.
Likewise, he worked as an investigator in different units of the Puerto Rico Police for approximately 11 years. In addition, he has worked in the city of Bayamуn for more than fifteen years where he held different leadership positions in the area of public safety, serving as director of emergency management agencies, environmental guards, medical emergencies, and commissioner of the Municipal Police. He completed a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Metropolitana University. In addition, he completed a master's degree in management with a concentration in strategic leadership from the Metropolitana University of Puerto Rico. In July 2021, he completed a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from the Nova Southeastern University campus in Davie, Florida, USA.
Within his professional career, he has had the opportunity to lead projects of vital importance for the second-largest city of Puerto Rico, Bayamуn. In the same way, he has had the honor of leading excellent working groups of the public security component and using the tools of the power of influence that have given him excellent results. His passion for leadership has motivated him to deeply study the results of the power of influence and thus use techniques to ensure that people and work teams can achieve excellence.
