The Devil's Bridge

Following their victory in Tunisia, the Allies set their sights on Sicily.
Thousands of men land in a daring night time assault, the Allied soldiers storming the beaches in the face of a terrific storm.
As the British push inland, they find the road north blocked by an enemy determined to turn Sicily into a killing ground.
If the advance is to continue, a key bridge across the Simeto river has to be taken.
The British launch a bold airborne assault to seize the crossing, however, disaster strikes and only a handful of men are able to make it to the bridge.
A deadly race ensues as the ground forces fight to reach the river, before the men holding the bridge are destroyed.
