This autobiography, is about my childhood throughout my adulthood and symbolizes my 32 years on this earth.It talks about me dealing with a parent who was addicted to drugs, while the other was murdered when I was a baby. It addresses my struggles with my own mental health, and my relationships with family and friends. It talks about me experiencing postpartum depression after my daughter was born. This book is about me navigating through life feeling like I was hopeless and me reclaiming that reassurance in myself as the years have passed by. It's about my dark days, and me constantly searching for better ones. I want my story to be heard because I know there is someone that probably has had a similar life as me and I want it serve as a Beacon that says, even though you may have been dealt a rough hand in life, never give up, and talking through the pain is the greatest healing that comes from it.
