The highlights of the legendary P-51 Mustang from inception to the Korean War is told with insight and enthusiasm. The technical history and people involved, however, deserves more than 45 pages. And 40% of that is taken up by photos and drawings. The versions mentioned are the Mustang I, P-51A, B, C, D, K, XP-51F and P-51H. But specifications are spotty. The cutaway drawing is the teardrop P-51D and K. This is not a reference book for complete specifications or for all P-51 variations. This book is for the general reader.
