Green Velvet, initially created by house don Cajmere AKA Curtis Alan Jones as an outlet for his non-vocal productions and frequent DJing gigs, grew to become even more popular than the man himself, thanks to club singles like Preacher Man, Answering Machine and The Stalker. Jamie Jones has achieved in the space of a few short years what many producers try for a lifetime. Turning his hand to a variety of styles while still maintaining a strong signature sound, Jones has created an admired musical identity and a loyal global following. Swiss born David Keno began his musical life learning classical instruments such as guitar and drums when he was 12. After playing in various rock bands he discovered his love of electronic music.
