Software Overview

Cadence AWR Design Environment provides integrated simulation and design capabilities for RF and microwave engineers. The platform combines circuit, system, and electromagnetic analysis so that designs can be developed and evaluated across multiple stages of the engineering workflow.
Microwave Office provides high-frequency circuit simulation capabilities, while VSS addresses communications and radar system design. AXIEM and Analyst provide electromagnetic simulation functionality for evaluating EM structures and related design characteristics.
The platform also supports an open design flow that allows data to move to and from third-party tools. Analyst has been deprecated in the 25.1 product line and is no longer planned for future versions. AWR 25.1 is the final version supporting simulation of Analyst EM structures, with Clarity 3D Solver serving as the replacement simulator.
