HDRsoft Photomatix Pro is an image-processing application for combining photographs of high-contrast scenes into a single image with greater detail in both bright and dark areas. It provides HDR Tone Mapping and Exposure Blending workflows, allowing photographers to process differently exposed images according to the desired result.
The software can generate HDR images from multiple exposures and can also convert a single RAW photograph into a pseudo-HDR image. Tone Mapping provides tools for bringing out highlight and shadow information, while Exposure Blending offers several methods for combining source photographs.

Software Overview
Photomatix Pro provides two primary approaches to increasing the apparent dynamic range of photographs. HDR Tone Mapping processes an HDR image to reveal details across different exposure levels, while Exposure Blending combines source photographs using dedicated blending algorithms.The HDR workflow includes an HDR Viewer for examining local image data at an appropriate exposure and a logarithmic HDR histogram for inspecting tonal information. HDR images can be tone mapped individually or processed in batches, while large HDR files can be tone mapped with a preview available during processing.
Exposure Blending includes four processing algorithms and provides automatic alignment for hand-held source images with two available alignment methods. Preview and Loupe functions are available for the Exposure Blending methods, with additional image-selection controls for the H&S - 2 images method.
