Pepakura Designer is a Windows application that converts 3D polygon-mesh data into unfolded patterns for creating physical paper craft models. It can automatically unfold 3D models and provides editing tools for arranging the resulting patterns before printing or exporting them.

Software Overview
Pepakura Designer generates an unfolded 2D pattern from a compatible 3D polygon-mesh model. The unfolding process can be started with a single command, after which the resulting parts can be arranged using the built-in layout editing tools.The editor provides functions for moving, rotating, joining, and separating parts, as well as adding flaps to improve the layout for physical assembly. Users can also switch textures on or off depending on whether they want to work with a colored model or a white model.
Assembly assistance is provided through identification numbers assigned to corresponding edges. Arrows indicate the positions of matching edges that need to be joined, helping users identify the correct connections during construction.
The application can export patterns in BMP, PNG, GIF, JPG, EPS, DXF, and PDF formats. Texture images can also be changed within the application.
