Cadence BETA-CAE Simulation Solutions is a collection of computer-aided engineering software tools for finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, multi-body dynamics, fatigue analysis, optimization, simulation data management, and related engineering workflows. Software Overview

Cadence BETA-CAE Simulation Solutions provides an integrated collection of tools covering CAE model preparation, simulation, post-processing, fatigue analysis, optimization, and simulation data management. ANSA is used for multidisciplinary pre-processing and model build-up, while META provides post-processing and result analysis capabilities.
The suite also includes EPILYSIS for finite element analysis, FATIQ for fatigue life prediction, KOMVOS for simulation data management and workflow handling, and ANSERS for managing machine learning predictions and relevant simulation data. The 2026.1 release introduces the Fast Concept Solver (FCX), a GPU-based structural solver integrated into ANSA for geometry-driven structural analysis. It provides real-time assessment of structural performance and supports evaluation of consecutive design changes. An upgraded license is required to use this solver.
Fidelity Flow Solver Integration
ANSA now provides an enhanced CFD workflow for Fidelity Flow Solver case setup, simulation monitoring, and execution. META can load Fidelity Flow results on demand while preserving ANSA model organization.
Turbomachinery Support
Fidelity Flow Solver support has been expanded for turbomachinery applications in ANSA, with case setup, rotor/stator interfaces, and run monitoring. META adds automatic meridional and blade-to-blade views, turbo configuration, repetitions, cut planes, and related turbo calculations.
Agentic AI
ANSA introduces Agentic AI functionality covering natural-language interaction, skill-based automation, Python script generation, knowledge assistance, context-aware task understanding, geometry healing, intelligent part type detection, persistent memory, tutorial guidance, and multilingual support.
Meshing Improvements
ANSA 2026.1 introduces Hexa Fit for automatic pure hexahedral mesh generation, a unified Line Mesh ribbon, Battery Cell Mesher, one-click HEXA/PENTA generation, automatic cable and tube meshing, shell-solid hybrid meshing, and additional controls for solid mesh refinement.
Optimization
The new Optimal Workspace provides ready-to-run multi-model and multidisciplinary optimization workflows. New optimization capabilities include dedicated ribbons, loadcase wizards, an optimization study wizard, ParEGO multi-objective Bayesian optimization, automatic bead generation, and enhanced design-area definition. An upgraded license is required for the Optimal Workspace.
EPILYSIS Enhancements
EPILYSIS 2026.1 expands SOL200 topology optimization manufacturing constraints and adds support for MATEP and MATS1 materials in nonlinear SOL400 analysis. AMLS receives performance improvements with up to 3x faster computation and up to 50% reduced disk I/O, while GPU acceleration on NVIDIA hardware provides up to 5x speedup according to the source information.
META Enhancements
META adds Agentic AI capabilities for data queries, simulation data loading, result visualization, and automated reports, presentations, and spreadsheets. Additional improvements include Battery Cell Intrusion, Euro NCAP 2026 and C-NCAP 2027 VTC support, Random Response workflows, expanded solver result support, and improved processing performance for large ADAMS models.
FATIQ Enhancements
FATIQ 2026.1 introduces AI-Powered Assistant functionality for load definition and documentation queries.
