Toolpath fixes
- A problem has been fixed that could cause Approach Outside moves in a Flat Finishing toolpath to gouge. PMILL-21824
- A problem has been fixed that could cause Approach Outside moves in a Rest Roughing toolpath to gouge. PMILL-21718
- A problem has been fixed that could prevent Approach Outside moves from being added when using the Slice Area Clearance strategy to machine the flat areas of the model with the Multiple Cuts option selected. PMILL-21889
- A problem has been fixed that could result in an unsafe machining order in Optimised Constant Z toolpaths. PMILL-21609
- A problem when using the Automatic method of Collision Avoidance has been fixed that could result in a toolpath being declared as safe even though it included colliding moves. PMILL-21825
- A problem has been fixed that could result in Deep Drill toolpaths being calculated with the wrong height. PMILL-21925
PowerMillis a stand-alone CAM system that quickly produces additive toolpaths, inspection probe paths, and gouge-free NC toolpaths from CAD models using 2.5D machining, 3-axis machining, or multi-axis simultaneous machining. These toolpaths can then be checked for collisions against other models (for example, clamps) and the tool holder before being output to cutter location and tape files. PowerMill has a wide variety of direct interfaces. It supports IGES, VDA, and STL data formats, which enables you to import data from any CAD system that supports these neutral formats.
