Beams and Braces
- Improved the tooltip for the Weight parameter to accurately reflect what values Revit needs to calculate it.
- Improved the method of calculating volume for Structural Columns and Framings by taking into account the "Fine" presentation, which includes the fillet radiuses of the elements.
- Added a Weight parameter for structural steel columns and beams, which is calculated using the profile section area, material density, and element length.
- Added weight and length parameters and improved the volume calculation parameter for structural steel elements for more accurate schedules.
Column
- The Length parameter for structural columns displays in the Properties palette and can be used in schedules and tags.
Coordination Model
- Added a help link to the coordination model changes in the specific layouts for the Coordination Model Changes functionality.
- Resolved an issue related to the Reload From option for coordination models when a link is selected.
- Updated the help link for supported cloud view when a coordination model changes.
Dynamo for Revit
- Added new Dynamo template files for creating template-based workspaces in Dynamo.
- Enhanced Dynamo help documentation for existing Revit specific Dynamo nodes.
- Upgraded Dynamo Core version to 3.2.1. See the release notes for details.
Edit
- Added the following public API: Document.IsInEditMode() to return true if the document is currently in an EditMode, false otherwise.
Graphics - Display
- Fixed a performance issue in Textures View where updating the Appearance settings of a material caused Revit performance degradation.
- Fixed an issue so that floors overridden with linear surface patterns and transparency display correctly on screen and in print in structural disciplines.
IFC
- Updated text for some CAD and IFC options on the ribbon.
- MEP Electrical Circuits
- Improved the boundaries and locations of electrical circuits, switch systems, wires generated from the circuits, and circuit paths when working with nested families.
- Added a notification with a link to the results when a background PDF export is successful.
Project Browser
- Enabled tabs in the Project Browser to show different types of views separately, improving navigation and reducing scrolling in large projects.
Revit Cloud Worksharing
- Enhanced error messages in Revit Cloud Worksharing, facilitating more efficient troubleshooting and resolution for operation failures.
Revit Home
- The new Revit Home has been enabled by default. The legacy Revit Home can be enabled by using the toggle button on the Home page.
Structural Connections
- Improved the break connection functionality by making it available on multiple selected connections.
Twinmotion
- Resolved an issue where some lighting fixtures are either misplaced or disappeared after syncing the Revit files and switches to Twinmotion.
- Resolved an issue in Twinmotion by disabling the Substitution Setting command when using the Family Editor.
- Added the ability to define a Twinmotion asset for each Revit family type loaded into the project, using the Twinmotion Substitution parameter. This will automatically substitute the Revit family geometry for the specified asset when using Open in Twinmotion or exporting to a Datasmith file and importing into Twinmotion.
