DipTrace 5.1 Update: Enhanced Features and Expanded Capabilities
After the recent release of DipTrace 5.0, we are ready to present a series of improvements included in the DipTrace 5.1 version. These updates enhance functionality and user experience to better support our users' design needs. One of the notable updates is that Interactive Routing tool is now configurable to optionally push static and trace vias. This enhancement simplifies routing and optimizes design workflows. In our SPICE Simulator, we've redesigned the parser to support digital models, addressing previous limitations of the standard NG Spice parser. Additionally, the user interface has been improved for greater usability, and project/global settings can now be stored more efficiently. Responding to user feedback, we have also expanded the software's import/export capabilities. Users can now export G-code for Solder Paste Dispensing and import ODB++ and PADS VX ASCII formats, offering greater flexibility in design and manufacturing processes. Furthermore, net names can now be displayed as markings of pads and traces in the PCB Layout, enhancing clarity and efficiency. Updates in the Schematic Capture module include enhanced error checking for hierarchies, ensuring greater accuracy and reliability in your designs.
