Cockos REAPER is a lightweight digital audio workstation for recording, arranging, editing, and rendering multitrack audio. It provides a broad set of audio production features while maintaining a compact installation and supports a wide range of recording, playback, editing, routing, and plugin workflows.
REAPER provides a 64-bit audio engine, low-latency performance, multiprocessor support, flexible routing, multitrack recording, and compatibility with various audio hardware and plugin formats. It can work with multiple file types and supports MIDI alongside audio production.
The editor includes drag-and-drop importing, flexible item editing, fades, crossfades, pitch shifting, time stretching, grouping, markers, envelopes, ripple editing, multiple tempos and time signatures, and project regions.
