MemoryTone is XILS-lab's software instrument inspired by an ambitious analog synthesis architecture. It features a sixteen-voice polyphonic design with three oscillators per voice and a 24 dB/octave self-oscillating ladder filter, providing a flexible foundation for creating synthesized sounds.
The instrument combines multiple oscillator waveforms with oscillator synchronization, pulse-width control, and an interactive signal path in which oscillator levels and voice behavior contribute to the resulting sound.
